California mom RIPS school board for 'hypersexualizing' students by promoting 'family-friendly' drag show
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: A mother from San Diego slammed a school board in California for giving out flyers celebrating a 'family-friendly' drag show and called them 'groomer' and 'activist pimps' for 'hypersexualizing' young children. Brittany Mayer went viral after a video she shared on October 12, 2022, a video of herself speaking at the Encinitas Union School District board meeting which was held on October 11 after the board refused to issue any apology.
Mayer was accompanied by other enraged parents who wanted the school to issue an apology for promoting such an event even though they were not the ones hosting it. What angered the parents more was that the Halloween party was sponsored by a gender reassignment center and a gay bar. Mayer said that the school is overseeing the education of children and is "hypersexualizing" them.

The school sent out an invitation for the Boo Bash that featured a "family-friendly" drag show where the performers would be dressed as Disney villains along with other games and trick-or-treats.
In an interview with Fox News, Mayer stated, "This is not an isolated event. This is coming to every school across the nation. And if you think it is just going to stay in California, you are dead wrong. This is coming everywhere. It’s why we stood up and said we're going to nip it in the bud, we’re not going to play by the rules, that we're supposed to be afraid, that we're going to be punished if we don’t speak up now."
She also seemed to criticize the idea of new terminologies being introduced and stated she would use the words knowing what it means. Mayer said, "We need to stand up and use the words that we know what they mean. They're pimping out our kids…it's coming all over the nation, and we need to now use brave words and words with meaning and call it like it is."
The video that has been shared and circulated so many times for it to go viral was shared on Brittany's Twitter and Instagram with the caption, "We’re done mincing words. While we have a culture that has a huge problem with child p**n and with sex trafficking, Encinitas Union School District in CA, made the decision to feature an event to sexualize young children.
We will call it exactly what it is."

In the video, Mayer is heard saying, "I just want to know what it is that makes a drag show family-friendly because if you follow it to its logical conclusion you can slap 'family-friendly' titles on anything. You can have family-friendly gentlemen's clubs, family-friendly strip shows, family-friendly fifty shades of grey. I honestly, sincerely ask, a woman mean this, what is it about a grown costumed in a sparkly bra, with augmented boobs busting out, a leather mini skirt barely his twerking a*s with duct tape on his front while spreading his fishnetted legs as he rides on the ground, grinding his groin next to our minor-"Is that family-friendly?" You don't get to hide by just taking something down off peach tree and calling it a day. You owe an explanation and an apology. [unclear]. You all got caught with your sparkly panties down. And well, we have a culture that has a massive problem with child porn, with sex trafficking. You, a little school district, board of adults, made the decision to feature an event to hypersexualize young children. Do you want to know the word that defines that? It's groomer. You all played the activist pimp for an aligned surgical center and for a 21+ gay bar. It makes you groomers and activist pimps."
"And we won't have those sitting on a school board who oversees the education of our children. You all stepped out of line, you should be ashamed. There's nothing loving about it because the logical conclusion of that is you end up being diabolical evil. Follow boundaries. And you don't slap "family-friendly" titles to cover your a**," she concluded.
