Brian Laundrie's dad slammed for getting Dunkin Donuts goodies amid manhunt for son
NORTH PORT, FLORIDA: Brian Laundrie's father Chris Laundrie was spotted Wednesday afternoon, September 29, stepping outside his home as protesters and media waited outside the Laundrie's North Port, Florida residence. Cracking open the front door, Chris picked up a box of Dunkin Donuts, among several other boxes. He also received flowers that had been delivered to his home earlier that day.
The Laundries have seen delivery services including FedEx, Amazon, local florists, and food delivery apps like GrubHub continue to leave things at their door. Their son Brian Laundrie, 23, is wanted as a "person of interest" in the homicide case involving his fiancee, Long Island woman Gabby Petito. Petito's body was found on September 19 at a campground in rural Wyoming. Twenty-two-year-old Petito mysteriously disappeared while on a cross-country road trip with Laundrie, who is currently being sought in a nationwide manhunt, Fox News reported.

Social media observers did not take Chris Laundrie's donut delivery well. "How in the mf HELL are these Dirty Laundrie a** wipes just sitting around & eating goddamn Dunkin donuts when there is a huge manhunt on for their crazy-ass son who just murdered their future daughter in law??! Talk about cold sociopaths!" one Twitter user wrote.
"I think people are sending things to their house, so they have to come out/they can get pictures of them," another proposed. "Is anyone checking these packages and notes on flowers from something potentially from #BrianLaundrie? Not likely, but possible," a comment read. "They are so calm. Like they have no worry as to where their son is. Like they know," a user wrote.
"You Know...This man can no longer go to the store or probably anywhere else w/o being followed, we have read & watched many alerts of how Laundrie slipped out, his parents know where he is...Hell..he could even be locked up away in the basement!! Lock up all accomplices!" one alleged. "Laundrie parents: “there’s a manhunt going on for our son right now but let’s eat some Dunkin’ Donuts while we wait” I cannot with these people I swear. How can you eat donuts at a time like this???" another quipped.

There are growing collections of flowers outside the Laundries' front door and by a makeshift memorial built in front of their lawn. "For the Laundries' silence — the Laundries did not help us find Gabby. They are sure not going to help find Brian," the Petito family's lawyer, Richard Stafford, said on Tuesday. "For Brian, we are asking you to turn yourself in to the FBI or the nearest law enforcement agency."

Meanwhile, Laundrie's family lawyer has insisted that his parents have no idea of his whereabouts. “Chris and Roberta Laundrie do not know where Brian is,” Attorney Steven Bertolino said in a statement. “They are concerned about Brian and hope the FBI can locate him. The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong,” he added.
