FREMONT, MICHIGAN: The mysterious disappearance case of a family has left authorities appalled and now a shocking twist has come to it as an exclusive footage has shown elder son of the Cirigliano family using a phone inside a gas station.

The footage obtained by The US Sun is apparently the last sighting of the family that included two teenage boys — who both have autism — and their parents. As per reports, the 51-year-old Anthony ‘Tony’ Cirigliano, his wife Suzette Lee Cirigliano, who is also 51, and their sons — Brandon Michael Cirigliano, 19, and Noah Alexander Cirigliano, 15, disappeared from their Fremont house after making a 911 call at 12:40am on Monday, October 17. It has been said that they did not take their cell phones with them and also left Suzette’s mother, a dementia patient, and their pets at home.

However, now the surveillance video taken from a Gulliver, Michigan gas station, had shown the family there on Monday, October 17, at around 11 am. The store manager Heidi Bonifield Bowler told The Sun, “They just came in and used the bathroom. One boy asked to use the phone but couldn't figure out how to use it. None of his family members knew he asked to use the phone.”

“Had the boys not acted a little strange, I would've just thought it was a family passing through. It wasn't until last night late when I saw the post about them missing, and we immediately remembered them. I'm just hoping for their family members that they return home,” Bowler added. Reports have also said that the same day in the evening, Anthony had spoken to a relative on the phone. However, details of it have not been revealed yet.

Meanwhile, Fremont Police Chief Tim Rodwell said, “As time goes by, the family is becoming more and more concerned and so are we. This is so unlike Tony and Suzie to leave and not tell anyone or pick up the phone. Right now, we are following up on every lead and investigating every potential sighting.”

This comes after just after midnight on Sunday, Anthony reportedly called 911. According to Rodwell, he “was exhibiting some signs of paranoia.” A recorded version of the call apparently revealed the missing man telling the dispatcher, “It is of vital national interest. It is related to September 11th. And people want to erase me from the face of the earth. I'm not crazy. Mr Geeting knows me. I'm a Christian.”

“I just need some help. And then the US government will take it from here. I know this sounds crazy. You don't have instructions for this. Please send someone that knows Geeting and can talk to US authorities, please,” Anthony added, referring to Sgt. Geeting whom he asked to come with their police lights off to not scare his children.

Following the bizarre phone call, two cops even reportedly went on to check the family and spent nearly 45 minutes with them to ensure “mental illness wasn't putting anybody in jeopardy. It's not normal behavior or normal interactions we have with the community,” Rodwell added.

Meanwhile, police have issued a Facebook statement as well in hope of people coming together to find the family. The statement read, “The Cirigliano Family is very concerned about their missing family members Anthony, Suzette, Brandon and Noah. They were found to have unexpectedly left their home in Fremont, Michigan and are believed to be in a silver colored 2005 Toyota Sienna mini-van with Michigan registration.

“The family last had contact with them on Sunday, October 16, 2022.  Since the last contact their phone has been turned off and they have not reached out to family or friends. Please contact the Fremont Police Department (231) 924-2100 with any information.”
