SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Bob Lee who was fatally stabbed in San Francisco had drugs in his system when he died on the operating table, according to his autopsy report. The Cash App founder who was murdered on the streets on April 4 visited a convicted drug dealer's home along with the suspect Nima Momeni's sister Khazar Elyassnia.

The 43-year-old software engineer died from multiple stab wounds including two stab injuries to his upper chest and a wound to the right hip area, stated the San Francisco medical examiner, reported Daily Mail.

Lee had multiple drugs in his body

Lee who recently moved from San Francisco to Miami had cocaine, cocaethylene (a substance made from dual consumption of cocaine and alcohol), and ketamine in his system at the time of his death, showed the autopsy report. His blood also contained traces of the antihistamine levocetirizine, a medicine used in treating allergies according to New York Post.

Lee was killed by suspect over an alleged argument about his married sister

In connection with Lee's murder, the 38-year-old IT consultant who was taken into custody and charged with the stabbing is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Tuesday, May 2. Lee was allegedly targeted by Momeni over an argument that involved his sister who is currently married to a renowned plastic surgeon, according to court documents.

Following the argument over the phone, the suspect drove the victim to an isolated street and attacked him using a knife which was reportedly "planned and deliberate." During the victim's death, he received a message on his phone sent by Elyassnia who asked him if he was okay as "nima came wayyyyyy down hard on you." If the suspect is convicted of Lee's murder, he will be sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Lee is survived by his father, brother, and former wife and he leaves behind his two young daughters. Following his death, Lee's father Rick Lee made an emotional tribute on social media. Calling his son his "best friend, the devastated father wrote, "Bobby worked harder than anyone and was the smartest person I have ever known. He will be missed by all those that knew him. Thank you to those who have reached out in support."
