Beating Dustin Johnson at the BMW Championship on August 30 must have felt good for Jon Rahm. Even better when he putted the way he did. The putt will probably go down in record books for its bizarre way — a 66-footer that Rahm had to chip at a 90-degree angle for it to fall into the cup. Needless to say, the win was thrilling and those who saw it wished it was a full house to give the man a standing ovation. Rahm's celebrations were by now way quieter.

Even though Twitter was happy and shocked at the same time considering the way it went in, they were left quite miffed with Rahm's celebrations. Some took to the platform to criticize the golfer and didn't mince their words. "I can’t stand Rahm. He acts like he’s never won before. I’d be pumped too but act like you been there before," a fan wrote.

A fan was glad he won, but for a different reason. "Great win for Rahm. Glad we didn’t have to watch him whine about the stroke he lost. He avoided another temper tantrum.

For some, it wasn't what they ideally expected, but there were some accolades coming in. "Jon Rahm can fook off but this putt actually gave me butterflies in my tummy. Can’t knock the fist pump either. ‘Spect," a fan exclaimed.

"He did more physical activity celebrating," read one of the tweets.

That said, a majority though still doffed their hats for Rahm's feat. "In nba terms this is like hitting a full court buzzer beater in a playoff game basically," a fan opined.

And then came another NBA-style explanation for those who don't get golf. "That’s utterly ridiculous, for those of you that don’t understand, this is like something hitting a full court shot in basketball, yes from the damn near inbound line, to win game 7 of a playoff series"

Talking about the win, Rahm said: "I think we all want the flashy finish, maybe not the stress that comes with it," Rahm said. "But I set out with myself to enjoy even the uncomfortable moments we had out there today. And man, it was fun." (Via ESPN).

What do you think of Rahm's win and his celebrations?
