When Season 1 of 'Bling Empire' debuted in January 2021, we became absolutely obsessed with the Netflix reality TV show. The extravagant and uber-rich cast is now back with the second season and features even more glamour, wealth, and drama.
From billionaire matriarch Anna Shay to superstar DJ Kim Lee and Kelly and Andrew, the show introduced us to super-rich Asians whose world is all about money, diamonds, and luxury. The show also introduced us to heartthrob Kevin Kreider, who comes from an East Coast, middle-class family and who may be the poorest among his ultra-rich cast. He doesn’t have incredible wealth but is seen as more of the “everyman” of the show, creator Jeff Jenkins told Oprah Magazine.

'Bling Empire': What is Kane Lim's net worth? Influencer, 31, grew up rich but not pampered

Who is Kevin Kreider?

In season one of 'Bling Empire', we meet 37-year-old Kevin Kreider, a lifestyle influencer who although of Korean descent, grew up in Pennsylvania where he was raised after being adopted by white parents. He was the one cast member who wasn't born into the same lavish lifestyle his cast members were and came from a humble background. He has since admitted that he's definitely the poorest of the cast members.

Throughout the season, viewers loved Kevin not just for his dreamy looks but also for the sort of vulnerability that he brought to the show.  Whether it was comforting Kelly Mi Li as she struggled in her toxic relationship with Andrew or bonding with Kim Lee over their parental problems, his presence added a human element to the otherwise outrageously superficial show.

He is not only a social media influencer but also a motivational speaker. In 2018, he did a TED Talk called "Redefining Asian Masculinity," which went viral. In it, he opens up about being bullied for his Asian heritage and having a skinny figure. “I imagine a world where Asian men can give wholeheartedly, be vulnerable, share, love, receive love, be limitless in what they do to their communities and for their communities not because of a stereotype,” he said. “And I also imagine a world where Asian men can be cool, be seen as cool, sexy, fun, just like any other race.”

He also works as a model who has been featured in magazines like Men's Health and Men's Fitness, as well as in campaigns for the likes of Gillette and Peloton. He has also appeared in other TV shows including 'Dating After College' and a documentary called 'The Ugly Model'. He was the first Asian-American to greet guests at Abercrombie and Fitch’s store in NYC.

What is Kevin Kreider’s net worth?

Kevin has an estimated net worth of $5 million. Most of his wealth comes from major brand deals and modeling. He has been featured in magazines like Men's Health and Men's Fitness, as well as in campaigns for the likes of Gillette and Peloton. He also works as a lifestyle and nutrition coach.
