'Blindspot' has been determined to keep us on the edge in its final season. Each episode has had a cliffhanger ending and it made us nervously wait for the next episode. The FBI fugitives are still in hiding and are desperately trying to decode Madeline Burke's (Mary Elizabeth) diabolic plans. Madeline has left no stone unturned to show just how sinister she can get. She has conducted drone strikes on their cabin, which killed Edgar Reade (Rob Brown), shot Brianna point-blank in front of Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams) to prove a point, and now she's spreading deadly chemicals into capital cities. She's just getting started and the team needs to put an end to her as well as clear their names soon.

However, it turns out that we might have a slight diversion in the upcoming episode. The team has to solve a series of puzzles and recover the famous Gardner paintings. The synopsis reads: "When Ice Cream, the Icelandic fixer, returns to collect his debt, the team is forced into a life-and-death race around the world to solve a series of puzzles and recover the infamous stolen Gardner paintings."

Nevertheless, for those who have been missing the Weitz storyline for the past few episodes, a sneak-peek tells us what we need to know. Weitz faces another conundrum, as Madeline's minion, Richard Shirley is back. Apart from this, he's also got some worrying instructions for Susan Shaw. He needs to take her down 'a few notches' when it comes to being considered for the vice president. The point is that Madeline wants to be vice president. She has been angling for it, for a while now. And knowing her, she's willing to go to any lengths to get it done. She also knows that she wields power over Weitz, as he knows that she can kill him in an instant, just as she did with Brianna. Is there a chance that Weitz can wriggle free of this task before he meets the same end as Brianna? Hopefully, Weitz figures out a way to keep himself as well as the team alive.
