AUSTIN, TEXAS: Recently, a black motorist was filmed ordering a bunch of White Black Lives Matters protesters to stop blocking a highway in Austin so that he can get to work and provide for his kids.
The video was captured on Saturday night, August 1, and shows the man stepping out of his vehicle on the I-35 and speaking to the activists who were blocking the traffic and not letting anyone pass.

The unidentified man is heard yelling at the group while waving his hands up in the air. The man says, "I gotta go to work, I'm black! I've gotta go to work! I've got bills! I've got kids! Get the f**k out of my way!"
He then proceeds to get back into his pickup truck with his words having an impact on the group who slowly moves aside to let his car go through. The video went viral across Twitter after it was shared by a reporter Savannah Hernandez.
Many social media users remarked on how 'ironic' the situation was. One social media user wrote, "They got out of his way because they knew he wasn’t fucking around and he would mow their dumb asses down. God Bless that man."

Another added, "A father, whose kid's lives matter enough to him to confront the crowd on the way to his job to put food on the table. Respect."

"I am glad he did and was let through. The police need to arrest them, charge them and make them feel the consequences of hurting the livelihoods and health of many," yet another social media user shared.
The incident follows a tense night in Austin where heavily armed rival groups faced off against each other a week after the fatal shooting of a BLM protester, Garrett Foster.
Earlier in the evening, a group of men wielding guns had been seen protecting left-wing demonstrators at a makeshift memorial for Foster. Across the street, members of a right-leaning paramilitary group called Three Percenters watched on as they raised their semiautomatic weapons in an intimidating manner.
It has also been reported that tensions were at an all-time high given the memorial had been destroyed earlier in the week by a right-wing activist who said that Foster was a 'terrorist' as he had supported the BLM and had been 'rightfully and legally euthanized'.
We had earlier reported that while protesting against police brutality, a car barreled into the crowd and someone inside opened fire on the protesters. Foster was shot by the motorist when he approached the vehicle intending to confront the driver.

He was shot thrice while trying to protect his disabled fiancée, Whitney Mitchell, and was immediately taken to the hospital where shortly afterward, he was pronounced dead.
Foster died from multiple gunshot wounds. According to his friends and family, Foster was at the BLM protest along with his fiance, who is a quadruple amputee.
Social media users had been outraged at his death and had commented on the same. One such user had written, "Garrett Foster gave his life marching with his fiancée, Whitney Mitchell, for #BlackLivesMatter. She is a quad-amputee and he was her caretaker. Let’s make sure we take care of Whitney now that Garrett is fallen. We take care of our own."
