Billie Eilish called 'mid-30s mom' by body shamer, Internet asks troll to 'f**k off': 'At your age you're nobody'

Billie Eilish has time and again addressed her body insecurities and also given a fitting reply when anyone tried to troll her over her appearance. But this time, her fans took care of that when one troll tried to shame her. A Twitter user named GamesNosh shared a picture of the Grammy winner out and about in Los Angeles. In the picture, she was seen wearing a beige strappy vest top, beige jogger shorts, and a pair of sliders, which was very different from her usual baggy clothes. But the troll wrote not so kind words for Eilish in the caption that read: “in 10 months Billie Eilish has developed a mid-30's wine mom body.”

But her fans soon jumped in to defend their favorite singer as one wrote: “She’s healthy and beautiful. That’s all that matters.” Another said, “body shaming an 18 year old girl must make you feel soooo confident and manly.” A third user tweeted, “At 18, she swept all 4 general field categories at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2020, making her the first female and youngest artist to do so and the youngest solo act to win the prestigious Album of the Year award. At your age you are nobody.”

“You are body shaming a super young adult! What does mid 30s mom bod mean anyway. I’m almost 40. You make 0 sense,” added a fourth one while yet another person on Twitter said: “What compels you, a thirty something man whose business is on 'hiatus', to try to shame a clever, talented, successful and rich young woman with a brilliant future ahead of her, hmmmmm? Honestly, I can't imagine.” One user commented: 'Billie Wilish has always, and will always be beautiful. Anyone who says otherwise can f*ck off.'

Youtuber Jessie Paege also could not control herself from giving back to the troll as she wrote on Twitter, “Billie Eilish is beautiful! PLEASE, do not body shame her, or anyone for that matter. Body shaming is not “news” or “gossip” it’s HARMFUL and UNACCEPTABLE.” She received support from a number of people on social media with one saying, “body shaming is NEVER OKAY. it's so toxic and disgusting it made me so fucking angry, as someone who's been body shamed it never made sense to me how people feel they have the authority to make comments about someone's body for just living their lives.” Another user added: “Not to mention that she’s a teenager and other teenage girls, with similar body types, will look at the things being said and it could permanently damage them. She’s beautiful, people need to shut their mouths on a teenage girl’s body.”

This comes after a few months ago, the 18-year-old star shared in a GQ interview that she almost killed herself in a hotel room in Berlin in February 2018. The reason behind that step was social media criticism. "Oh, God. It's unbelievable. I almost killed myself because of Twitter a couple of years ago. Like, for real,” Eilish said. Continuing further, she said: “I was thinking about the way I was going to die. And I remember how I was snapped back into reality. My mom and brother were with me before that moment. And they were like, 'We're going to get food. Are you going to be OK being alone?' And I was like, 'Yeah, I'm fine'."

“I clearly wanted to be alone, as I had things on my mind that I was, sort of, planning. And I think they could tell, so instead of not going, they went, but as they went they texted my tour manager, who was in the same hotel. I don't know what they said exactly, but I was sitting in this window by the bed and I saw him, this guy called Brian — I've been working with him since I was 14 — and he was walking towards me from the other side of the hotel. There was a knock on the door and he came in. He made me laugh and joked around. I asked him, 'Did my mom tell you to come here?' He replied, 'Maybe'."
