'Big Sky' Season 2: Release date, spoilers, cast and all about ABC's thriller series

A private detective teams up with an ex-cop to solve a kidnapping case in Montana

'Big Sky' is a popular American crime drama thriller series created by David E Kelley, based on The Highway series of books by C J Box T. On ABC, the series premiered in the 2020–21 television season on November 17, 2020. In May 2021, the thriller series was renewed for a second season which is scheduled to premiere on September 30, 2021. David is a multi-Emmy and Golden Globe award winner and known for his work on 'Ally McBeal', 'Big Little Lies', 'Picket Fences', 'Boston Legal', 'Goliath' and, 'Mr Mercedes' among several other series.

The series shows private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to be on the lookout for two sisters, who have been kidnapped on a remote highway in Montana. 'Big Sky' Season 2 has moved to New Mexico, while the first season was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. Release date

'Big Sky' Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 10 pm ET, only on ABC.

Where to watch?

'Big Sky' airs at 10 pm ET and is available to stream on both Hulu and ABC.com the very next day. The first season can be streamed on Hulu and ABC.com or you have the option to purchase episodes on Amazon, YouTube and AppleTV+.

The official synopsis reads: "A private detective teams up with an ex-cop to solve a kidnapping case in Montana". Both Jenny and Cassie have had their lives almost destroyed between Ronald and the Kleinsassers. Ronald has evaded capture a second time. What does that mean for the two detectives?

Bunbury was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Bunbury originally worked as a model, but then her agency suggested she try acting. She landed her first role as Kathleen in Days of Our Lives: Episode #1.11388 (2010) for one episode. She also had roles in Prom (2011) and The Sitter (2011).
