One report claimed that MacIntyre performed the exorcism in a cabin during the bible camp where two other boys saw the boy on the floor. The boy was bleeding from his nose, making sounds and twitching, as the two witnesses raised the alarm and brought help. The boy is said to be around 14 and was a part of the Junior Teen Camp which was hosting children between 12 and 14 years of age. Reports claimed that MacIntyre allegedly told the campers to stay in touch with him for the rest of their lives as he's the only one who can help them with their demons. In a YouTube video, MacIntyre explains the incident saying, "He was possessed, he was hearing voices in his head, he was seeing angry faces, and this was a boy the same age as my precious little brother and I was just so moved." He continued, "It is a full-blown demonic possession. I remember looking down at him and I said, 'Can you say that Jesus is Lord tell me that Jesus is Lord,' and he looks up at me and says, 'no.'"

MacIntyre says in his video, "He's shaking his eyes are rolling back in his head, his nose starts bleeding, the lights start flickering. I can tell right away that this is going to be a serious problem. He hits the floor, I'm able to brace his fall." MacIntyre has previously addressed his issues with drugs, porn, and a violent past. MacIntyre's misdeeds came to light after several campers informed their parents about his behavior, with some parents removing their children from the said camp. Redberry Bible Camp board chair Wayne Dick told CBC, "I will tell you that we are investigating the situation. I'm not prepared to discuss it at this point. I can assure you [the worker] is not at the camp." Ailsa Watkinson, a University of Regina professor emerita of social work with a specialty in child protection, said, "This is just nuts. Absolutely astounding. If that was my child, I'd be horrified."
