Social distancing is a must in these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it doesn't have to be boring. How about a virtual watch party for Beyoncé's 'Homecoming' documentary? Fans joined the virtual party on Netflix on March 18 and kept #HOMEcoming hashtag trending on social media.

"This was an amazing experience. I’m glad we could all come together in these uncertain times to celebrate a queen #HOMEcoming," tweeted a fan.

This idea was first tweeted on Sunday, by Jasmyn Lawson, Netflix editorial manager and Beyhive member, "Can we all watch Homecoming as a group sometime this week and relive that again???," she had asked. Just like that it was set as she tweeted, "Alright, let’s do this thing! How’s Wednesday at 6 PM PST (9 EST)??? We can use the hashtag #HOMEcoming.”

"I love spending the night with Bey and the Hive #HOMEcoming," tweeted a fan.

"From the bottom of my heart. I am so thankful and appreciate everyone who tweeted. The world is a mess right now. We need peace and love. Beyoncé is my fave. I count on her to help me get through times like this. I'm happy the TL is full of joy and excitement. #HOMEcoming," tweeted Lawson herself.

Being that it's the Beehive that was called up, news spread over social media like wildfire - from new outlets tweeting the watch party and Queen Bee herself retweeting the tweet. "After watching #HOMEcoming I’ll either be wide awake hype or have exerted so much energy I’ll be ready for bed," tweeted another fan.

'Homecoming' gives us the behind-the-scenes look at Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performance and it actually debuted last year on April 17. From intense rehearsals, crazy planning, and disciplined training, we got to see how Beyoncé pulled off the epic performance. Beyonce and husband Jay Z are not as revealing when it comes to their home life, but in the documentary, we got to see a rare instance of the stars and their family life. 'Homecoming' even showed the couple's adorable children: Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir. The megastar also released a live album from the performance at Coachella for her undeniable fans.

"Watching #HOMEcoming was such a beaut relief to take our mind off things. I’m in such a great mood," tweeted another fan.
