Who will replace Elizabeth Frankini on 'Below Deck'? Season 7 cast Josiah Carter could be a possible choice
Elizabeth Frankini's firing is a gift that keeps giving. Ever since Francesca Rubi let her go, there has been enough and more noise about whether or not she should have been fired with two charters left. The third stewardess was obviously not happy with the development given that there were two charters left to go on 'Below Deck'.
Captain Lee Rosbach had warned Francesca that it will get difficult because even though he has people lined up to fill in for Elizabeth but it would take time. She was okay with one less member in her team. "Too many slip-ups," she said and added that there wasn't much of a choice.

'Below Deck': Why was Elizabeth Frankini fired? Viewers say Francesca Rubi 'relished' letting her go
"I think every charter I’ve really had to work and I’m continually putting energy and checking up on you and we’ve had numerous chats about this, but sleeping in the guest cabin was sort of, like, the final straw for me," Francesca told Elizabeth.
It was heartbreaking to see a newly-fired crew member in tears but maybe it was a blessing in disguise? She was being picked on and judged for all her mistakes, and all the nitpicking had reached a point where she was complaining about Francesca's behavior towards her. Now, with her out of the picture, the obvious question is: Who will replace her?
In one of the recent episodes of 'Below Deck Galley Talk' Josiah Carter, who was a part of Season 7, hinted that he was supposed to replace Elizabeth but clearly it didn't happen because the show had to be wrapped up abruptly due to the Covid-19 crisis, CheatSheet reported. Gesturing to himself, Josiah told D'Albert Pusey: "Do you know who Captain Lee called to finish the last two weeks in Antigua? I’ll give you one clue.”
Who is Josiah?
He grew up in southern England and was born in a family that is all too familiar with "boating and fishing." His Bravo bio read that even though he was a competitive gymnast, he was more interested in what the seas had to offer. He trained as a butler and worked in yachts. "Since 2013, Josiah has worked both interior and exterior on mega yachts for some of the most demanding owners and charter guests cruising through the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Bahamas," the bio stated.
When not working on yachts, Josiah travels with his partner Michael Groves. They are going strong and are even expecting to become step granddads soon. Michael's son Tom and his girlfriend Octavia are all set to become parents, Josiah confirmed on one of his Instagram posts. "So excited to share the news that Tom (Michael’s son, for those that don’t know) and his girlfriend Octavia are having a baby 👶🏼 2021 just got a whole lot better! Does this mean I’m going to be a step granddad before I’m 30," he posted.
The 'Below Deck' Season 8 finale aired on February 15, Monday at 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.
