Where is Chef Kiko now? 'Below Deck Mediterranean' star living 'the dream' after unfair exit
Hindrigo 'Kiko' Lorran is easily one of the best chefs the 'Below Deck' franchise has seen. But Captain Sandy Yawn didn't agree with it. Why else would she fire him? A group of charter guests complained about Kiko's food being too fried and kid-birthday-like. In his defense, he had never had to prepare a Los Angeles-themed menu.
Chief stewardess Hannah Ferrier, also fired, helped him out in whatever capacity she could. But it wasn't enough and Kiko ended up being unceremoniously removed. Naturally, he was crushed when Yawn showed him the doors but today, he is doing much better. Before we give you an update about Kiko, you can catch reruns of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 5, 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 2, and 'Below Deck' Season 8 on the Bravo site.

Where is Kiko now?
Let's just say, he's definitely doing better than before. Last year, after his employment was terminated, Kiko got into a video interview with the Decider where he dished on his plans for the next two years. His girlfriend, Nicole Skwara, is part of his immediate future.
"Right now, I just arrived in Martinique. I’m working on a catamaran, which is going to do a round trip around the world. Yeah, for two years. I got this contract with them. I’m going to meet with the owner tomorrow. He seems like a pretty nice person, a very adventurous person," he said and added: "He wants to discover the whole world with this boat. So I’m pretty excited and pretty happy. Also, me and my girlfriend [Nicole], we got the same job together. Seeing the world with my girlfriend, it’s just a dream."
Recently, the couple visited El Salvador. "Thanks to all the locals and people that I met here. El Salvador is an amazing and magical country, definitely coming back very soon for more fun waves and nature," he wrote on his Instagram.
