‘Below Deck’: Charter guest Brandy has fans concerned after she wakes up from a night of drunkenness only to ask for more champagne
In the previous episode, we saw chartered guest, Brandy being rushed off an island for medical attention after she began zoning out and hyperventilating. This week’s episode picked off from there, and we saw a doctor attending to Brandy and asking her not to consume any more alcohol. The ever-so-kind Captain Lee too was by her bedside to make sure his guest was well taken care of and got better.
For most of the episode, our intoxicated friend was in bed completely passed out. Finally, at midnight she woke up from her drunken stupor and wound her way through the yacht looking for the crew. Everybody was in bed by then, except for Courtney Skippon, the stewardess. Brandy found Courtney and requested her for some fruit juice. Just as we were beginning to feel hopeful for Brandy’s liver, the girl requested for some champagne. Courtney did the smart thing by relaying Brandy’s request to her boss, Kate Chastain, who suggested her to give her some sparkling water instead of champagne.
Courtney followed that advice and saved Brandy’s liver from further damage. However, Brandy's behavior has fans worried about her all over again. A fan tweeted, “Girl, the doctor said no more alcohol! Brandy what is you doing? You’re gonna get a peptic ulcer on a boat and THEN what are you gonna do? #BelowDeck”. Another fan wrote, “How does brandy wake up from whatever she was on to ask for champagne ?!??? Seriously. #BelowDeck”. Most fans were concerned that the chartered guest didn’t consume any food or at least wasn’t shown eating and as soon as she woke up she wanted some more alcohol. A concerned fan shared, “I’m concerned Brandy is on the verge of alcohol poisoning. Has she eaten any solid food yet? #BelowDeck”. “The last thing Brandy needs is champagne. She needs food. #BelowDeck”, pointed out a fan. “Does Brandy eat?? I only see her drinking!! #BelowDeck”, wondered a fan.
Several fans couldn’t help but advice Brandy to get some help and quit alcohol. A fan wrote, “Brandy waking in the middle of the night seeking champagne??? She might need to seek help for her alcoholism. Sad she isn’t enjoying a rich experience due to being blacked out drunk. #belowdeck”.
