Bella Thorne reveals a director accused her of 'flirting' with him when she was only 10
ENCINITAS, CALIFORNIA: Actress Bella Thorne opens up about the time a director allegedly sexualized her as a child which ultimately cost her a role. On Emily Ratajkowski's podcast 'HIgh Low', Bella Thorne remembered the time when a director once complained that she had been "flirting with him," and the 25-year-old added saying she was only "10 years old."
"I had a director give me feedback once, and I was 10," the former Disney star said on the podcast, which was released on Monday, December 26. Fumed Bella explained while chatting with Emily, how the casting director on the unnamed project apparently became uncomfortable around 10-year-old Bella, which she claimed was a decisive factor in her not getting the role. After the director informed Bella's agent about the incident, the agent then phoned the actress's mother saying she was no longer part of the project.

"So, she's not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him really uncomfortable," she recounted, according to Daily Mail. "Oh my God, you were 10?" added a shocked Emily. "What the f*** are you talking about, man?!" shouted an enraged Bella. "I don't give a f*** what the f*** I said! I don't care if I said, "Eat my p**** right now!" "She is 10 years old. Why ever would you think that?!" Bella continued, referring to herself.
The podcast host Emily responded by pointing out that the director thinking of a 10-year-old in such a manner was "a real issue" and may have indicated how much he sexualized children. Furthermore, Bella added that most actors don't have the power to "say or do much," so it was not clear to the 'Blended' actress how the director even got the impression she was flirting.
"You do the scene, you say hello, you walk out!" she remarked, before Emily added, "That's a child!" Bella continued, "There's no time to, like — 'Let me go sit on your lap!' — or, like, make you feel uncomfortable." "What the f***!" "And you're just putting it on a 10-year-old child and making it like they made an adult man uncomfortable is insane," said Emily, baffled by what happened. Moreover, Emily even called out the casting director for not fact-checking and just relaying the director's inappropriate complaint.
