Of all the things the pandemic can and should be blamed for, 'Basketball Wives' starting slow is one of them. Season 9 picked up at the beginning of 2020 but the crew stopped filming when the world shutdown. They resumed filming only in November later that year. Not to much surprise, a lot changed in between those months, including the way cast and crew were.

Talking to FOX5 Atlanta, Executive Producer Shaunie O'Neal shared that everyone went through massive transformations during the lockdown and that made an impact when they were finally under one roof.

The Blast reported a scoop from when the ladies feuded and it is explosive. Apparently, some of the cast members walked out after Ogom 'OG' Chijindu changed her colorism narrative based on convenience. She made the ladies "uncomfortable".

Kristen Scott, however, was the only one who wanted to lend a patient ear. She sat with OG trying to understand her perspective on colorism but what she got instead was jabs. A source told the publication that OG "discredited" Kristen's blackness and that "because of her Eurocentric features, colorism doesn’t apply to her."

According to Cheatsheet, Kristen was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She started off with humble beginnings. And that is all we know of her early life. Maybe when the episodes play out, we'll know more about where she comes from.

This pushed all the wrong buttons and left ladies exhausted. Apparently, they were convinced that OG was not willing to have an "open-minded" conversation with anyone. She even butt heads with new joiners, Nia and Noria Dorsey.

OG ideally should not have returned. When the cast was announced, fans were shocked that she would consider coming back to the show that gave her grief. After Season 8 ended, OG and Evelyn Lozada engaged in a social media war that was first started while the previous was being filmed. Evelyn took to Instagram later to describe OG using a monkey GIF, which prompted a fierce tweet from the latter.

"AND THERE iT iS.. SHOW YOUR TRUE COLORS YOU RACiST BiGOT.. YOU CALLED CECE “LiNG LiNG” JACKiE A “COCKROACH” & NOW ME A “MONKEY” MAY GOD TAKE CARE OF YOU WELL WELL..EVELYN LOZADA," she had written.

This led to Evelyn filing a defamation lawsuit against her, in which she claimed that OG caused her to lose endorsement deals. The fight didn't end there. OG filed a counter lawsuit.

This week, as the ladies arrive at the mansion for a two-week vacation, let's hope these two don't clash again like before.
