Who is Barry Weiss?

Barry Weiss is a businessman and a reality TV star. Prior to appearing on 'Storage Wars', Weiss worked with his brother Joey Weiss, where they ran a produce business called ‘Northern Produce’. Having worked in the field for 25 years, Weiss eventually retired and began traveling. After a while, he began collecting antiques, a hobby he's had since the age of 15. Apart from 'Storage Wars', Weiss has appeared in shows such as 'Barry'd Treasure', 'Storage Wars: Barry Strikes Back' and documentaries such as 'Motorcycle Mania III' and 'Beverly Hills Garage – The Bruce Meyer Project'. 

As per his A&E bio, "Since the age of 15, Barry has made a name for himself as an antique collector. A Robert Evans-meets-Jack Nicholson type, Barry thinks these auctions are a good place to make a buck. For Barry, buying is a hobby, but one at which he is very proficient. His wealth of knowledge extends from classic cars to war relics and everything in between.

Barry is always looking for an out-of-the-box approach to get one up against his competition. Whether it’s bringing psychics to an auction, or night vision goggles, Barry lacks no shame in his outlandish tactics. Look to Barry for the great one-liners; he’s never one to bite his tongue."

His net worth

As reported by Celebrity Networth, Weiss has a sizeable fortune of $10 million. He also has expensive tastes when it comes to his cars, seeing that the Lincoln Zephyr he rolls in on in Season 14 can cost anywhere between $123,200 - $352,000, as reported by Concept Cars. Another car of his that has made an appearance on the show is his 1947 Custom Cowboy Cadillac. Apart from his swanky cars, Weiss also owns a $1.8 million mansion in Beverly Hills' exclusive Laughlin Park neighborhood.
