'Bachelor Nation' star Hannah Brown welcomed the New Year with some bittersweet memories. The Alabama native who went on to become the reality star of the year and won millions of hearts for her epic journey on the last season of ' The Bachelorette', said, "2019, you were a crazy, beautiful, tragic, magical mess."

Brown, who in her Instagram stories, revealed that she was at home down with a migraine on New Year's Eve, said she was resting after the rollercoaster of the year she had had. It's true, she went on to be dumped in ' Bachelor', then was at the center of the most tumultuous season in ' Bachelorette'  history following which she also starred in 'Dancing With the Stars'  and won the coveted trophy. But, it wasn't all great.

She went through her fair share of hospital trips and internet hate as well as heartbreak. She found out that her fiancé Jed Wyatt had lied to her and had a girlfriend and it all happened on national television. Moreover, Brown was also slut-shamed for her sex life by a contestant named Luke Parker.

Luke P, who is a born-again virgin, told Brown off about having sex with other men, “I don’t believe that’s something you should be doing. I just want to make sure that you’re not going to be sexually intimate with the other relationships here," he said. Brown dumped him what was perhaps one of the most dramatic moments in the show's history.

However, she has made her peace with it, it appears.

"But, I’m giving you a big thankful hug and letting you go,"  she said next to a picture of her standing in a field full of tulips. "You brought me a lot of love, some pain, and so many incredible moments that I’ll forever be grateful for experiencing. You are definitely a year I’ll never forget. 2020 I’m ready for you. Let’s give all the good from last year a run for its money. ✨🥰"  she said.
