Salley Carson presented a half-baked excuse for her inexplicable absence from the latest episode of 'Bachelor In Paradise,' but her co-stars don't seem to buy it. In a sneak peek from the episode airing on October 10, the 26-year-old, who rose to fame after starring in Clayton Echard's season of the ABC series, finally appeared at the beach to join the rest of the group with her lone bag, which came earlier.

Salley, a former Bachelor candidate, is having trouble in paradise. Salley's suitcase magically resurfaced on the beach on the October 3 episode of 'Bachelor in Paradise,' but the robotics consultant herself was nowhere to be seen. That means it was up to Paradise bartender Wells Adams to reveal why Salley didn't show up with her bag after leaving Clayton Echard's season of 'The Bachelor' even before she started to pursue a romance with her ex-fiancé.

Wells claims that a 'BiP' producer earlier showed up at Salley's place to accompany her to the airport for filming, but she did not answer the door. Instead, a strange man came and told the producer, "Salley ain't here!" before closing the door in her face. When the anonymous producer finally reached Salley, she wanted to chat with her ex-fiancé one more time before heading to the beach. However, there was a snag in her plan when the two arrived at her ex's place. According to what Salley reportedly informed the producer, "If he sees you in the car, he's gonna lose his mind. You need to get in the back." But Salley didn't mean the car's backseat; she meant the trunk.

Despite Salley's assurance that the talk would only take "10 minutes," the producer was allegedly locked in the trunk of the car for four hours before emerging crying after her boyfriend informed Salley that he wanted her to leave for Mexico.

As per Wells, none of this mattered because Salley didn't even make her flight. Salley stayed at the airport after getting yet another perplexing phone call from her ex, trying to sort things out with him. Understandably, the startled 'Bachelor in Paradise' contestants in the audience couldn't believe this convoluted narrative. Wells, on the other hand, defended himself, asking them to "talk to the producer if you want to!"

The other contestants, who couldn't disguise their confusion, instantly pressed her for answers once she hit the beach. In response, the television personality revealed, "I missed three flights. But I’m here now ."

The contestants were even more taken aback after hearing her nonchalant answer. One of them, Genevieve Parisi, admits to being taken aback after seeing Salley's bag without the reality star there. She couldn't help but worry about how the 26-year-old would fare upon her arrival.

Shanae Ankney appeared to be interrogating Salley about her late arrival later in the episode. In response, the celebrity issued another dismissive remark, stating that "work stuff came up."

The robotic consultant, who also includes her ex-fiancé on her ABC resume, emphasized that her profession comes first. The other members of the group couldn't shake the notion that something more was wrong, particularly after hearing Wells' earlier explanation. Genevieve revealed in the episode, “Salley said she missed three flights because of work. I know for sure that’s a lie because we heard a very interesting story from Wells.”

After apparently becoming tired of her sneaky behavior, the women finally questioned Salley directly if she spent time with her ex-fiancé before joining them on the seventh season of 'Bachelor In Paradise.' Based on her reply thus far, the star is determined about remaining silent about her whereabouts, which might imply more drama for the contestants come October 11.
