'Bachelor in Paradise' 2022: Did Alex get 'producer rose' from Florence? Fans believe he is saved for more drama
VALLARTA, MEXICO: The big question for this week's 'Bachelor in Paradise' was whether Victoria would choose Alex or Johnny. Despite viewers' displeasure with her final decision, Bachelor Nation is more interested in the fact that none of Victoria's guys were eliminated tonight, leading to even more drama on the beach.
"Tonight is going to be really hard for me," Victoria acknowledges. Because Bachelor Nation finally got what they always wanted-a Rose Ceremony! Oddly enough, none of the participants knew who would be handing out the roses. Viewers can assume it was never stated clearly to them after Split Week?

Johnny and Alex's rapport is strained when the cocktail party begins. Later, on the daybed, Victoria has her "wine moment" with Alex. "You're just so kind," she says. "Everything about you is amazing. Truly." She then moves on to another daybed for a wine session with Johnny. He describes his week as "hell." "When I saw you, it affirmed everything and how much I missed you," Johnny says, adding that he wants to take her all the way to the finish, which Victoria adores. She nestles her head on his chest, and they kiss.
Palmer then appears with his Butter Knife of Bad News! It's up to Victoria to make a choice. Will she deviate from her typical type and go with Johnny, or will she play it safe and go with the "great on paper" Alex? She goes with her former connection, Johnny, leaving Alex hanging. Meanwhile, the lesser of the two shocks arrived in the guise of a rose, which Alex had conveniently received from Florence. Fans believe the producers pushed Florence to give her rose to Alex so that he could linger around on the beach and make Johnny anxious.
As soon as the Rose Ceremony wrapped up, fans were quick to share their theories: "Anyone else think Florence picked Alex so Alex could pursue Victoria and she could pursue Johnny? I do." Another fan suggested: "Producer probably told Florence to choose Alex or they won’t pay for her flight back to Australia." Some also felt, Florence giving her rose to Alex was just for the storyline: "Producers making Florence give Alex her rose for the story line." One fan also shared how keeping Alex around was Florence's way of choosing chaos: "Florence giving her rose to Alex for maximum chaos."

Some fans also felt the producers may have influenced her to give her rose to Alex as she didn't have any connection: "no cuz i know the producers told florence to just give her rose to alex cuz she had no connections." Bashing Victoria for her pick, one fan tweeted: "I knew Florence would save Alex. Who wouldn’t? Victoria is out of her mind." One 'BiP' viewer called for a love triangle here as they write: "So the producers needed a love triangle so told/asked/coerced Florence to keep Alex?" Calling Florence's rose to Alex a 'producer's rose' a fan quipped: "Florence giving her rose to Alex is 100% a producer rose."
