'Bachelor in Paradise' 2022: Fans accuse Victoria Fuller of lying about relationship timeline with Greg Grippo

On the Season 8 finale of 'Bachelor in Paradise', Victoria revealed the details of her relationship with Greg, however, Bachelor Nation is not buying it

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Tuesday's 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 8 finale, Victoria Fuller revealed that she began seeing Greg Grippo after splitting from fiancé Johnny DePhillipo. Bachelor Nation not only refused to believe her relationship timeline but also called out the couple amid cheating rumors.

Victoria cleared up speculations regarding her relationship status with Greg on the November 22 episode of the 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 8 finale. During the finale's reunion segment, host Jesse Palmer questioned Victoria — who accepted Johnny's proposal on the beach in Mexico — if she started seeing Greg from Katie Thurston's season of 'The Bachelorette' after her breakup with Johnny. "Yes, Greg and I are together," Victoria, who starred in Peter Weber's season of 'The Bachelor,' stated. Jesse then inquired whether she had cheated on Johnny with Greg.

"Absolutely not," Victoria asserted.

Johnny had a different opinion. "I still consider talking to someone else while we're working on our issues cheating or emotional cheating," he informed Victoria. Jesse brought out Greg after Johnny exited the stage.

"We've been friends for a while. We met last year through mutual friends," Greg described how he met Victoria. The New Jersey native revealed that he and Victoria rekindled their relationship in the weeks after her return from Paradise.

"I was like, you know what, we're at this moment where we're really interested in one another, and I was like, I want to take you out for a drink," Greg explained. "So, you want to go to Rome in two days?"

The extravagant move was really an attempt by the couple to avoid disclosing the outcome of Victoria's time on Paradise before it aired. "We couldn't go and get a drink in New York City or Nashville," Victoria explained. "So we're like, okay, we'll go to Europe, and maybe see, test it out, see how we fit."

Fans suspected Victoria and Greg had gotten together after seeing photos from their trip to Italy. When Nick Viall, another 'Bachelor in Paradise' alum, shared a video of Victoria kissing Greg on TikTok earlier this month, those allegations only became stronger. Victoria eventually informed Jesse that she didn't care how others interpreted her relationship with Greg. "No one has to understand it or get it, and that's okay," she explained. "But everyone can hate us if they f---ing want." Victoria also disclosed that she and Greg received identical "ciao" tattoos in Italy.

"I get it," Greg answered. "I get it's not the best look in the world."

Fans couldn't help but capture the reaction of the other cast members to Victoria and Greg's matching tattoos, "The reactions to Victoria and Greg’s “Ciao” tattoos." Calling out their bluff, a fan wrote, "Victoria and Greg Grippo are really pretending their first date was their trip to Italy? So they think we’re actually stupid?"

Calling Victoria's attempt to go after Greg even after reassuring Johnny, made one fan think, "All i need to hear is that Victoria told Johnny not to worry about Greg and then went and dated him…. that’s shady." Another fan didn't hold back from accusing Victoria of providing a false relationship timeline of her and Greg, "Victoria if you’re gonna lie about cheating on Johnny, make sure u at least prep Greg on the timeline you’re gonna say. You can’t say you started talking to Greg 5months after &he comes on stage & says weeks."

Some fans found their segment during the Reunion to be the 'cringiest,' as they write, "That Victoria and Greg interview might actually have been the cringiest thing this franchise has ever brought to my screen." Seeing Tyler Norris being only one of the cast members to say something made fans think, "INTERESTING NO CAST MEMBERS BESIDES TYLER HAD THE BALLS TO SAY SHIT ABOUT GREG AND VICTORIA TRASHY A**ES . What a bunch of bit*hes."

Some fans have their own reasons as to why Victoria and Greg should be together, "Greg and Victoria deserve each other. The two most vapid and self-absorbed people in this franchise." Another fan added how Greg made Victoria the villain of this season, "Not Victoria ending up being a villain of this season because of Greg fucking Grippo."
