Babylon Bee's epic troll of Dalai Lama 'suck my tongue' controversy goes viral

JUPITER, FLORIDA: Babylon Bee, a satirical platform has done what it does best, trolled epically! This time it was spiritual leader Dalai Lama who faced severe criticism after he was spotted kissing a boy on the lips who came to hug him during a public event. Even though he had jokingly asked the boy to suck his tongue, his actions resulted in backlash. The conservative Christian satirical website Babylon Bee wrote in its article titled 'Dalai Lama Inundated With Requests From Public Libraries To Lead Story Hours', referring to the far-right linking the LGBTQIA+ community and drag performers with pedophilia.

It said, "As soon as we saw the clip, we knew we needed to have this guy reading stories to vulnerable kids at one of our library locations," said Jason Kucsma, the Director of the Toledo Public Library. "Our passion is to get as many innocent kids in a room with creepy grown single men in dresses as possible. You know, for diversity. What other point is there in having a library?" Babylon Bee also took a dig at Vatican City, and concluded the piece with, “At publishing time, Pope Francis had reported feeling disappointed he didn't get any invites.”

Since their epic troll on Dalai Lama was published, it went viral in no time, with people reacting from all around on social media. One wrote, "I honestly thought this clown had a trace of decency, sadly it has become clear that he is just a filthy pedophile." The second said, "Ageless incarnation of ancient deity succumbs to needs of the flesh after a couple of years of hanging out with Richard Geere and Lady Gaga." Another user wrote, "Your ignorance about 1000-year-old traditions is shocking. Sticking out your tongue is like a handshake in Miami... stupid you. Falling for Chinese propaganda which goes for your pedo condition and got you. Can't expect education from US Clowns."

One user in reference to Dylan Mulvaney's controversy said, "BREAKING: The Dalai Lama is now in talks with Nike for a new line of child-friendly clothing." Another user came to Dalai Lama's defense, "He was just being a goofy funny old man, which is what he is. Not sexual."
