Netflix's latest comedy series, 'Astronomy Club' featuring the comedy group of the same name is now streaming and though we think it's quite hard to choose favorites on a show where everything is excellent, we still think there are a few sketches you wouldn't want to miss.

Astronomy Club is a New York-based comedy group that formed in 2013 and consists of members Shawtane Bowen, Jonathan Braylock, Ray Cordova, Caroline Martin, Jerah Milligan, Monique Moses), Keisha Zollar, and James III. They became the first and only all-black house team at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

The premise of the Netflix show is that eight comedians move into the Astronomy Clubhouse — where the viewer gets to know each member — and thereby provides a connection for all the intermittent sketches.

From the first episode, a sketch that stands out is the 'Magical Negro Rehab' sketch, which gets supporting black characters from Hollywood movies to become the leads in their own stories.

Featuring characters like Hoke Colburn from 'Driving Miss Daisy', Bagger Vance from 'The Legend of Bagger Vance', and Aibileen Clark from 'The Help', the rehab tries to teach them to stop "helping some white man fulfill his destiny".

In Episode 2, a sketch comes along where the characters are dressed in medieval outfits but are in a modern-day city as they fulfill quests. Towards the end of the sketch, we realize this is a game that has been developed called 'Bodegas and Dragons' by a majority white company.

Another funny, yet silly sketch is the one in Episode 3 where two men meet for a date at a fancy restaurant after hitting it off online. However, one of them has "Resting Creep Face" and every time Jonathan Braylock's face goes into creep mode, the sketch just gets more funnier.

In Episode 4, there is a game show sketch called 'What You Shoulda' where the three male contestants listen to true stories from women — they can win if they don't buzz in to tell the women what should have done, but, of course, they find that impossible to do.

The comedy series also pokes fun at the ASMR trend as one sketch portrays the "Whispy Awards" where individual prizes are given for ASMR videos — we see the audience shivering and shaking enjoying the experience until one of their heads explodes.

In the final episode, a sketch that stands out is 'Mary Poppins for Black Children', where Mary Poppins is played by Gillian Jacobs who has read up on black culture and tries to be relevant by breaking into rap.

All episodes of the first season of 'Astronomy Club' are now streaming on Netflix.
