Spoilers for Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living' Episode 7 'The Weeping Willow'

It was finally time for Mr Brown to return with his timeless Madea jokes. The longtime Perry character returned to the sitcom after four long, very drained out episodes and although fans are thrilled with what the character had to offer, especially in terms of dissing his beloved Madea, they couldn't overlook the plenty of fart jokes in the sitcom's latest episode. To the point where it was not just 'strange', but fans just couldn't put up with it anymore.

Mr Brown was summoned by Jeremy's wife Leah to talk some sense into Grandpa Vinny, but knowing the two men's rivalry, it's no surprise that once again they busied in bickering right away, this time over a mutual flame — Madea. From bringing up how Vinny could be Cora's father, to making fun of Madea for being an "easier spread than peanut butter", a "door knob where everybody's had their turn", and finally, a "thot" aka 'things human ought not touch' — Mr Brown brought out his A-game when it came to dissing Madea and his company in this new game was Granda Vinny, who also claimed to have tapped that Madea a**.

But all of this was not enough for fans to ignore the fart jokes and noises Perry slipped into the episode, as they took to Twitter to express how grossed out they were by how hard the show was trying. It was something in common with another of Perry's newly revived sitcoms 'House of Payne' that airs double episodes right before 'Assisted Living' every week, and noting the same a fan Tweeted: "I just don’t understand why Tyler was so obsessed with fart jokes this week. There were a couple in both episodes of #HouseOfPayne and one in #AssistedLivingBET. It was just strange."

Another quipped, "Ummm was TP having some bad gas when he wrote tonite's episodes for #HouseOfPayne and #AssistedLivingbet? He keeps including farts very needlessly and grossly."

A third fan, curiously asked, "Ok is farting the theme of every show tonight? I've tried with this show and love Brown but I just can't." So that's the key: keep the Browns, but cut down with the farting.

Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living' airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm only on BET.
