Episode 3 of 'Arrow' Season 8 united the future and present Teams Arrow for a cross-time adventure that will be playing out in the next episode. While the present-day team is mostly just confused by the appearance of their descendants, Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara), Connor Hawke (Joseph David-Jones) and William Clayton (Ben Lewis), the future Team Arrow of 2040, also have to deal with the tragic loss of their teammate Zoe Ramirez (Andrea Sixtos), who was killed by John "JJ" Diggle Jr / Deathstroke 2040 (Charlie Barnett).

Mia, Connor, and William now have the unenviable task of telling Zoe's father Rene Ramirez / Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) that his daughter will be killed in the future. Considering how much of Rene's life has been dedicated to making Star City a safe place for his daughter to grow up in, this new information from the future is bound to have a major impact on the hero.

Despite all the development that he has gone through since his debut on the show, Wild Dog is still a bit of a wild card and there's no telling what exactly he might do if he were to find out that his daughter, the single most important person in his life, will be killed by the son of his friend John Diggle (David Ramsey) in the future. There's a very good chance that he might attempt to prevent Zoe's death, which could be what leads to the dystopian future of Star City 2040 coming to pass.

The cast for ‘Arrow’ Season 8 includes Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen / Green Arrow, Ramsey as John Diggle / Spartan, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance / Black Canary, Rick Gonzalez as Ramirez / Wild Dog, Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt / Mr Terrific, Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake/ Black Canary, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak / Blackstar, Ben Lewis as William Clayton, Andrea Sixtos as Zoe Ramirez, and Charlie Barnett as John Diggle Jr / Deathstroke 2040.

'Arrow' Season 8 Episode 4 'Present Tense' will air on The CW on November 5.
