'Arrow' Season 8 Episode 3 promo shows Thea Queen return and she's not going to let her brother die without a fight

Thea has been one of the best characters in the series since the very first season and we can't wait to see her return to the show. The promo shows Oliver telling Thea about his impending death and knowing Thea, she's not going to just sit around and let that happen.

'Arrow' Season 8 Episode 2 'Welcome to Hong Kong' made some shocking revelations about the Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) and his relationship with Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson). The episode revealed that Lyla and the Monitor were aware of Earth-2's impending destruction and the cosmic entity may have played a part in bringing about the death of the parallel universe.

Despite his desperate desire to prevent the impending 'Crisis on Infinite Earths', Oliver Queen / Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) has begun to doubt the Monitor's true intentions after his latest mission almost led to the death of Tatsu Yamashiro / Katana (Rila Fukushima). Oliver wants to know why the Monitor sent him to find a man who recreated the deadly Alpha-Omega virus and he's starting to think the cosmic being may not be the benevolent god he's been pretending to be.

Oliver has a lot of questions and there's only one place he can find answers: Nanda Parbat, the home of the League of Assassins. And based on a promo for episode 3 'Leap of Faith', Oliver's quest for knowledge is going to lead him to his sister, Thea Queen / Speedy (Willa Holland).

Thea has been one of the best characters in the series since the very first season and we can't wait to see her return to the show. The promo reveals that Oliver will be telling Thea about how the Monitor has predicted Oliver will die during 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' and knowing Thea, she's not going to just sit around and let that happen.

Though the third episode will be the first time we meet Thea this season, we already got a reminder of how important she is to Oliver's world in episode 1 'Starling City'. In that story, it was revealed that on Earth-2, Oliver never came home from his accident at sea and Thea, driven by grief, became addicted to the drug Vertigo and overdosed on her 18th birthday. Her death set off a series of events that would have led to the destruction of Starling City if the Earth-1 Oliver hadn't stepped in, though ultimately the entire universe was destroyed rendering Oliver's heroism redundant.

'Arrow' Season 8 Episode 3 'Leap of Faith' will air on The CW October 29.
