Ariana Grande teases video of new song with full orchestra, fans say 'AG6 is coming to end careers'
It looks like Ariana Grande is confirming to fans that new music from her is on its way. Taking to her social media on September 28 the 'Rain On Me' songstress teased that she is working on new material. Currently, the singer has revealed many details but if her latest posts on Instagram are anything to go by, fans may be getting a new track soon.
On her Instagram stories, Grande shared a five-second black-and-white video with "miss u" edited on the clip and which shows a studio recording session with an orchestra. So, her next song is shaping up to be epic. Fans on Twitter have been quick to share their excitement over the new music. "COMING TO TOP THE CHARTS" said one fan in all caps while another wrote, "Ag6 is coming to end careers," in reference to her highly anticipated new album. One fan said, "EVERYONE MOVED." One fan, excited to see the song is getting an orchestra, saying, "Yes, an orchestra!? I won."
Ariana previously teased a new song on September 14. Keeping fans on their toes, she just captioned a simple "brb" to a post shared on both Instagram and Twitter. Her post came with a snippet of a new track that plays a few bars of her harmonizing over her own voice. Ariana's sixth studio album, dubbed by fans as ‘AG6’, has officially been confirmed to exist, so the singer's latest post may be a small taste of what to expect. The new album was worked on while Ariana had been in isolation, so the star letting out just small clues and details is an understandable way to build up the hype, although fans may beg to differ.
Singer-songwriter Tayla Parx, who worked with Ariana on 'Thank U, Next' has confirmed that 'AG6' is completed. According to Business Insider, Parx said, "The 'Thank U, Next' crew did get back together over quarantine — after like, five Covid tests, literally. We just kind of let it happen naturally, same way as the last album."
She noted, "I can tell you she's made, yet again, another evolution," adding, "I'm excited for her to tell you guys just more about where her head was at with this project, because it truly is incredible."
The upcoming song won't be the first time Ariana has worked with an orchestra. In 2018, the singer performed several of her hit songs including 'No Tears Left to Cry', 'Goodnight n Go', 'Love Me Harder' and more with an all-female orchestra for a BBC special dedicated to the singer, titled 'Ariana Grande at the BBC'.
