Miley Cyrus is back with new music and is actively engaging on social media with teasers and announcements over the past month, but one recent clue to her works has got social media into a frenzy. Both Miley and Bieber have posted photos of their latest efforts on their social media accounts, but what is important is that the photos have been taken in the same studio and posted the same day (August 18), which has led fans to speculate a possible collaboration. However, neither pop star has confirmed anything of the sort yet.

Miley shared the photo on both her Instagram and Twitter accounts where she thanked her label and team. Referring to her latest hit song 'Midnight Sky', she wrote, "Just heard that Midnight Sky is having the biggest radio add week of my CAREER and it’s #1 most added at Pop and Hot AC .... Every radio programmer who added it is rad as f**k and everyone who didn’t well..... Big f**kin thanks to my team and bad ass label!". Miley is seen at Andrew Watt's studio in her photo.

With two photos shared on his Instagram Stories, Bieber is also seen in Watt's studio, notably in front of a mic with headphones on. After his 2020 album 'Changes', Bieber has been quiet about any further projects and released only one single ('Stuck with U', with Ariana Grande), so seeing him in the studio is certainly a big deal. He hasn't shared the photos on any other platform and if his new material is a collaborative effort with Miley, it is understandable why we are left with only subtle clues and less info on his upcoming projects.

Furthermore, Watt is a producer who has often paired big names together such as Benny Blanco with Halsey and Khalid on their collaboration 'Eastside', The Chainsmokers and Bebe Rexha for 'Call You Mine', Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello on 'Señorita' and many more.

Fans are notably excited about this news and are currently wondering whether this news is too good to be true. One deemed it 'very necessary'. Another tried to decode what Miley's pictures meant saying: "More evidence: Justin Bieber liked this photo when Miley Cyrus posted it and even Hailey Bieber commented on it! “we Stan legends only” I smell something cooking!!! @haileybieber". Another fan described what Miley and Bieber may have been thinking when they posted the pictures: "Justin Bieber Miley Cyrus Let’s make our fans overthink"

Meanwhile, Miley has returned after a long musical hiatus with several posts in August. Miley released 'Midnight Sky' on August 14 after teasing a comeback. As explained by Miley in her latest tweet, the song has been positively received widely by critics and fans. The track is the first single off her long-awaited album, 'She Is Miley Cyrus'.

On August 4, Cyrus took to her social media to announce her return to music while teasing fans with a throwback music video. "Meet Miley Cyrus..... again. #SheIsComing #ButForRealThisTime 🎸🖤🎤," the singer wrote on both her Instagram and Twitter accounts with a clip of her 'Start All Over' music video which released in 2007.

On Monday (August 17), MTV announced that she will be giving a debut performance of 'Midnight Sky' at the 2020 VMAs on August 30.
