The couple wanted to expand their family and add spice to their romance by including a new woman to form a throuple. In the TLC show, Ashley and Shane searched for an additional woman to complete their polygamy family. However, the couple definitely faced trouble in their hunt.
In the teaser of 'Seeking Sister Wife' Season 5, Ashley found a potential sister wife but she was surprisingly not so interested in meeting Shane. After Ashley's request, the woman agreed to meet the TLC star and her husband, Shane, at the restaurant. Ashley admitted to the cameras, "We're super open and excited to meeting new people."
Shane was left disappointed with the woman after she asked him, "Have you been to a therapist before?" The polygamy patriarch responded, "Have not" with the woman sarcastically adding, "That shows." Shane appeared to not like the woman and claimed in the confessional, "Holy crap... Red flags all over the place." Meanwhile, the woman agreed to make Ashley and Shane's dream of polygamy family true.
