Polyglot Philip Crowther is an international affilate correspondent for AP news (The Associated Press). Reporting on the Ukraine conflict with Russia, Crowther was in Kyiv to give his viewers updates on the situation. Crowther was speaking to a bunch of well-known news organizations as he was discussing the developments of the conflict in English, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German.

Proud of his work, he took to his Instagram and Twitter where he shared the clip and it has since gone viral. It was shared on Monday, Feb 21, at around 5 pm and had around 2 million views at the end of 24 hours.

According to his bio shared on the social media handles, Crowther is from Luxembourg originally and reports in six languages from around the world. The comments under the clip are varying. While some found his ease with multiple languages commendable, others pointed out a few errors. One said, "There is no such language of "Luxembourgish"... They speak German and French in Luxembourg."

Another said, "More importantly, I stayed at the hotel behind the obelisk behind him, which has a restaurant next to the lobby which changes into a strip club with no warning at 10pm, regardless of whether you’re mid way through your dinner or not"

This user said, "Really impressive, Philip. I wonder, have you come across your comedian alter-ego, @YGVassilakis? One of his specialities is dubbing lines from famous shows in numerous languages. Together, you must have all of Europe covered... 😂👏"
