'You think war is funny?': AOC slammed for grooving to the beat of protesters in Queens town hall meeting
THE BRONX, NEW YORK: As the political current rises in the States, the drama rises too. A video has gone viral where Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is seen grooving along with her protesters in one of the town hall meetings. The protesters could be heard shouting "AOC has gotta go" with a drum beat playing in the background. It was on Wednesday night, October 19, when the protesters called out the second-term congresswoman at a town hall event in Queens.
AOC could be seen grinning and playing down the aggressive chanting while she sipped from a water bottle and was seen moving her shoulders in tune with the chants. The politician sat on a stage and kept her smile as a bunch of protesters appeared in rage while screaming and criticizing her, according to Daily Mail.

Comedian Alex Stein shared a video of AOC commanding the crowd to "listen!" on social media and wrote jokingly, "I can't tell you in words how much it turns me on when AOC talks like this!" Brent Smith wrote, “You're [sic] own constituents heckled you the other night and you just started dancing and degrading them? Hopefully they're actually waking up and realizing that you have yet to pass one single piece of legislation for them or anyone else and they'll vote you out of office!”

As per the report, an account with the handle @nashland said, “You are an embarrassment and disgrace, sitting there 'dancing' at your town hall meeting instead of addressing the very serious issues people are raising. You think war is funny?”
Ocasio-Cortez in her recent interview with GQ condemned a nationwide hatred for "women of color" and feared she may not be alive by September. She told the magazine, “People ask me questions about the future. And realistically, I can't even tell you if I'm going to be alive in September.”
It was just last week when she was booed down at a town hall in the Bronx, where her former supporter criticized her stand to carry on with sending military aid to Ukraine. He hoarsed, “You voted to mobilize and send money to Ukrainian Nazis. You have done nothing. Tulsi Gabbard has shown guts, where you've shown cowardice,” referring to the former Democratic presidential candidate’s public decision to switch sides.
As per Center for Effective Lawmaking, she has never introduced a "substantive" piece of legislation that could go beyond the introductory phase, despite a unified Democratic party sitting in the capital for the past two years.
