No one is a greater veteran of the ‘Star Wars’ films than actor Anthony Daniels. The only actor to have appeared in all 11 ‘Star Wars’ movies (C-3PO wasn’t in ‘Solo’, but Daniels still had a role in the film), the star has been a part of it all from the beginning. In a livestream with the cast for ‘Rise of Skywalker,’ at ‘Galaxy’s Edge,’ Disneyland, the C-3PO actor answered questions from fans online, talking about his favorite scene from all 11 movies, and a moment with a ‘Star Wars’ fan he found particularly memorable.

When asked about his favorite scene from the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, Daniels brings up a scene from ‘Return of the Jedi’ with Han Solo (Harrison Ford).’ “In episode 6, Han Solo’s hanging over a fire, and Ewoks are lighting it,” he said, “and Solo says to 3PO, who’s sitting in a throne, as you do, ‘What are they saying, 3PO?’ and he says, ‘It appears, Captain Solo, that you are to be the main course at a banquet given in my honor.’” Harrison Ford, who was tied and hanging upside down from a pole in this scene was most definitely not enjoying the experience. “You could see Harrison’s face just really hating this line. I loved it.”

Daniels, responding to a question about the cast’s best fan interactions, mentioned a moment from just a few days before the interview. “A guy of around 30, who had been watching the original ‘Star Wars’ as a child, maybe 5 or 6 years old, he explained to me that he used to hide behind the sofa, to say he ducked away from the scary bits,” said Daniels, mimicking the motion of ducking behind the couch.

“He was about the age where he was meant to be growing up...but he realized it was okay to be afraid,” said Daniels, pointing to an imaginary screen, “because the gold man on the screen was afraid too.” The story received awws and applause from the cast.

Daniels also took the time to point out how helpful Daisy Ridley and John Boyega were on set in keeping him from falling over, telling Boyega, “I gotta say, publically, do you know how many times you rescued me on the set?” Daniels went on to explain, “We had some very uneven surfaces, whether they were fields, or the sand, the desert, whatever, and on the speeder, you guys were regularly stopping me falling over.”

Ahead of the movie, Daniels released “I am C-3PO: The Inside Story”, a memoir about his decades-long career playing the most famous protocol droid in history.

'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' releases in theaters on December 20 .
