Bank on Netflix to always have your back when it comes to movies or shows to binge on, especially 'guilty pleasure' chick flicks or even typical high school dramas about young puppy love to stir nostalgic memories.

There's a whole other world of TV shows that can fulfill your demands and they just so happen to be in Spanish! The latest teen Spanish movie on Netflix, 'Anonymously Yours', follows the aftermath of an accidental text that eventually turns into a "digital friendship" between Vale and Alex. They begin to develop feelings for each other, without realizing that they've met in real life!

The official synopsis reads: "After an accidental text message turns into a digital friendship, Vale and Alex start crushing on each other without realizing they've met in real life".

Having said that, this movie has the right mix of drama, comedy, and plot twists. What started as texting a wrong number by mistake eventually turns into a virtual friendship, something ideal in today's day and age. In the film, their connection, unlike most such virtual friendships, is strong and one that is rare to find.

When Alex texts Vale in the hopes of getting in touch with the girl he met at a house party, he had no idea that she would be the reason he looks forward to life in his new school. The same goes for Vale, an otherwise introverted student, with exactly two friends. A good chunk of the movie has the two of them texting each other constantly, without knowing that the people they're texting are right in front of them, partnered up as detention buddies!

In time, the contacts saved as 'Anonymous' on both their phones decide to meet up. Alex says he'll wear his favorite holed sweater while Vale decides to sport a red beret. Upon reaching the decided location, Alex sees Vale, the dorky girl with who he doesn't get along in school. Clearly, he thinks that she's pranking him and is pretending to be someone she isn't.

On the night of their high school prom, Alex has an epiphany and decides to meet Vale anyway, after he heard her voice note (as Anonymous) confessing her feelings to Alex, her detention buddy! They find each other at prom and share a kiss, and dance together. The last leg of the movie seems to be shot post highschool, with Vale giving instructions on a production set and Alex working in a remote desert. He texts her saying, "Hey, Anonymous one".

The message here is simple yet something to think about. Alex and Vale found each other at a time in their lives when high school was anything but a bed of roses. Their individual passion was something they had to work towards if they wanted it bad enough, and that's what they did. The two are now pursuing their dreams, after learning to chase what they really want during their time together in high school.
