BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Controversial social media influencer and former kickboxing world champion, Andrew Tate got arrested on Thursday, December 29, along with his brother Tristan Tate over an investigation in a human trafficking case. Both brothers are alleged of abducting two girls in Romania. The arrest comes after Tate’s online spat with climate activist Greta Thunberg, during which he posted a video of himself asking a person off-screen to hand him two boxes of pizza, which potentially gave the officials his location.

The brothers had allegedly detained two women — one with American citizenship and one Romanian — inside their villa against their will in April, where they were subjected to "physical violence and mental coercion' and were "sexually exploited by group members by forcing them to perform pornographic demonstrations for the purpose of producing and disseminating through social media platforms," the Daily Mail reports.

The arrest comes after Tate, 36, asked the 19-year-old to comment on the carbon emissions of his "33 cars," as he wrote, “Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.” To which, Greta replied, “Yes, please do enlighten me. Email me at smalld**kenergy@getalife.com.”

However, the Internet didn't get enough of Tate's epic burn following his feud with Greta and was quick to troll him after his arrest. One wrote, "Andrew Tate trying to bully a teenager on the internet and failing so badly he gave his location away to the police and got arrested is the end of year gift we all needed." While another commented, "Andrew Tate truly is one of a kind: I’ve never seen a bigger self-own than “tragically cringe comeback video after a teenager destroyed me online got me arrested for human trafficking” in my life."

The troll continued with one saying, "Andrew Tate being so triggered by Greta Thunberg, after he initially taunted her, that he gave away his location and was arrested for human trafficking is exactly the downfall he deserves and exposes his whole violent misogynistic grift for what it really is." One more said, "Andrew Tate get bodied by a teenager he tried to pick on, and then get arrested the next day for human trafficking, has been a cake ending to 2022. The fact that he led police to himself with a dipsh*t video is the cherry on top. Small d**k energy. The smallest. D**k. Energy." Another joked by writing, "Andrew Tate getting arrested because he revealed his location with a Romanian pizza box is like something from a knives out spin off." While one of many celebrated the news and wrote, "Andrew Tate has finally been arrested. The world is slowly healing."
