Former Kickboxer
Emory Andrew Tate III is an American-British former professional kickboxer, internet personality, and social media influencer who started practicing boxing and martial arts in 2005. In November 2008, Tate was ranked the 7th best light-heavyweight kickboxer in Britain by the International Sport Kickboxing Association. After retiring, Tate started selling memberships and courses on the website. Since his retirement, he has emerged as a significant influencer despite being barred from numerous platforms for his misogynistic social media commentary.
Tate's arrest and alleged crimes
The allegations leveled against Tate and his brother, along with two women arrested at the same time, center around claims of rape, people trafficking, and organized crime. According to News.sky.com, Romania's DIICOT unit, which investigates terrorism and organized crimes, has said it has identified six victims who were subject to "acts of physical violence and mental coercion" and were "sexually exploited by group members."
Ban on social media
In August 2022, Tate was permanently barred from Instagram and Facebook for breaking their rules against hate speech and harmful groups and individuals. TikTok removed his account after determining that it had violated their policy against posting material that criticizes, threatens, incites violence against, or generally treats people as less than human. His channel was then suspended by YouTube as well when it was found to have several infractions, including hate speech and COVID-19 disinformation.

Through a series of tweets on April 27, 2023, Andrew Tate said that he was suffering from numerous symptoms that he claims could be due to some sort of poison and allergies. Andrew wrote in now deleted tweets, "Face swollen. Blood pressure is through the roof. Skins on fire. Hard to breathe. Some sort of severe reaction or poison. Only had coffee and water so far today. All appeared in the last 5mins."

According to Body and Soul, Tate appeared in the 17th season of Big Brother in the UK but didn’t last long. He was kicked off from the show when producers became aware of a video showing him striking a woman with a belt in the bedroom.
