Yellowstone Park employee finds HUMAN FOOT along with shoe floating in hot spring
MONTANA, WEST YELLOWSTONE: A Yellowstone National Park employee found a severed foot in a shoe floating in the Abyss Pool on Tuesday, August 16. Confirming the report, Morgan Warthin, a public affairs officer for Yellowstone National Park said that the foot and shoe were found near West Thumb Geyser Basin.
An investigation has begun since the foot was found. The Abyss Pool in the southern area of the national park in Wyoming is one of the deepest in Yellowstone and is considered to be 53-foot-deep during hot spring.

“Since the discovery, rangers have reopened to visitors the temporarily closed West Thumb Geyser Basin and parking lot,” said Warthin to The Sun. The park has an average temperature of 140 degrees. “The park does not have any other details to share about this incident currently. We will provide additional information to the public in the next few days" added the spokeswoman.
Statement from Montana resident
“We knew something bad had happened, It was such an abnormal sight to see in the park,” Jen Mignard, a Montana resident told Cowboy State Daily. “There was a lot of fear and apprehension that something was seriously wrong. It was a dark feeling.” Mignard stated. She also mentioned that the parking lot was empty and there were only two cars and yellow police tape that stretched the entire length of the park.
Mignard further added, “The police tape actually extended through the trees, all the way along the length of the geyser basin.” Spotting helicopters in the area, she added, “Helicopters don’t fly here, there were too many coincidences. Something major was happening.”

Geysers and geothermal waters are the most attractive factors of the Yellowstone National Park, situated in West Yellowstone, Montana. However, these rare natural phenomena can be dangerous. In recent times, it has killed more than 20 people by some of the park's dangerously scalding waters.
