'Who’s going to help him with Black vote?': Kanye West slammed as he seeks Trump's help for the 'white vote'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West, who plans to run for the 2024 presidential election and who joined Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform following his Twitter suspension, took to the platform to express his gratitude following Brittney Griner’s return from Russian prison. But Ye also added, “To President Trump, my offer still stands for you to be my vice president. Counsel says you definitely help us with the white vote #ye24.”
Ron Filipkowski, a criminal defense attorney, shared a screenshot of Kanye's post and wrote, "Kanye wants Trump on his ticket to help him win the white vote." After his post, many jumped in to slam the rapper. One said, "Do you think Kanye (I refuse to call him something else) will make it to the presidential primaries? My guess is no. I think it’s really funny that Kanye believes Trump would play 2nd fiddle. How well does he know [his] fgs?" Another wrote, "Trump already told him no ice and not to run. Hell even if Trump did get the nomination I doubt he’d even [want] Kanye for his VP."

While another questioned, "Does that guy seriously think he'd ever be President?" Another asked, "Who’s going help him with the Black vote? His Black card is permanently revoked." One suggested, "Kanye needs to sit down, stay away from every camera, and disappear for three months," with another said, "Good to know the offer still stands HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

In November, Ye told Trump that he wanted him to run as vice president on a Kanye-led White House ticket during a meeting at Mar-a-Lago. Narrating the details from the meeting, the rapper said, “I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about, me asking him to be my vice president. Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose," reports NY Daily News. He continued, "Hold on, hold on, hold on, Trump, you’re talking to Ye. That caught him off-guard."
Meanwhile, Trump has already announced his presidential run for 2024.
