'America's Got Talent' season 14: Kodi Lee, V. Unbeatable and Emanne Beasha have the best shot at acing the semifinals next week

Out of the 36 contestants that have performed, only 21 contestants made the cut and moved on to the semifinal that is set to air live from next week.
UPDATED AUG 30, 2019

After three weeks of quarter-finals, America's Got Talent is finally heading onto its semifinals that are scheduled to start next week on September 3rd. Throughout the course of the last three weeks, we saw the contestants move from the Judge Cuts, perform for a chance to get America's vote and move forward to the semifinals. Out of the 36 contestants that performed, only 21 contestants made the cut and moved on to the semifinal that is set to air live from next week.

Amongst the 21 contestants who performed, quite a few of them became fan favorites and the high number of votes were proof of that. Though everyone who moved on to the semifinals are unique in their own way, sadly not everyone can win the $1 million prize and a grand opportunity to headline at a Las Vegas casino showroom. With that said, the finale is just around the corner. While the semifinals are set to air live from September 3rd, and we are yet to see the contestants perform, there are a few frontrunners who have a higher chance of moving to the semifinals with fan and viewers votes. Here's who we think should have a clear way to the finals.

Kodi Lee

Kodi Lee has gained fans from far and wide after his appearance on 'America's Got Talent' season 14. The 22-year-old blind and autistic pianist has been stealing hearts ever since he auditioned for the series. He was also the first contestant to receive a Golden Buzzer this season. For his quarter-final performance, Lee performed his version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and there wasn't a dry eye in the theatre. Lee has been an inspiration to many, and because of his talent, there is a high chance that he will head on directly to the finals.

V. Unbeatable

This Indian dance group has brought the roof down with every single performance of theirs since they auditioned. They also received a Golden Buzzer from Dwayne Wade during the Judge Cuts. But their quarter-finals performance outdid everything they had performed on AGT till date. Proving that they are unbeatable, their performance had them throwing kids from one end of the stage to the next and higher than their previous acts. Their act impressed the judges so much so, that Simon Cowell who rarely gets up from his seat, bowed to the contestants after their routine. We can't wait to see what tricks they pull out of their bag when they return for the semifinals. They are also one among the handful of frontrunners we have this season and have a high chance of moving directly to the finals.

Emanne Beasha

Emanne Beasha has the voice of someone twice her age, and the young singer has stunned audiences with every performance of hers. During the Judge Cuts, she even won the Golden Buzzer from Jay Leno. With an operatic voice, she looked calm and composed through each performance of hers, bringing her best to the stage.  Fearless, her performance was the highlight of the final week of the quarterfinals. Cowell even commented saying she is on a completely different league compared to the rest. Emanne surely is one among the frontrunners this season, and the youngest compared to others too.

'America's Got Talent' season 14 airs every Tuesday and Wednesday on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
