Simona and Lorenzo are two psychologists from Rome (Italy), who have combined technology and psychology to create a virtual reality software called IDEGO. The psychologists believe that the fears which people hold inside them in the form of phobias are preventing people from achieving their full potential. They believe that their creation will help people to unlock their full potential. The duo described their talent as “helping others to unlock their talent”.  They then invited Howie Mandel on stage and demonstrated their software and helped Howie overcome his fear of heights and fear of touching other people’s hands to save a person’s life in the virtual reality simulation. Terry Crew commented, “He faced his fear that was amazing”. At the end of the simulation, Howie described the entire experience as amazing. All the four judges found the act extremely exciting, fun and exhilarating.

Nick Williams and Lindsay Williams

This husband and wife duo wowed the audience and judges with their breathtaking act of knife throwing. The couple is very passionate about music, and channeled their passion into the act, as they opened the performance with Nick singing opera and Lindsay playing the violin. At this point, Simon hit the red buzzer, he later expressed that he didn’t like the opera performance. The couple then proceeded towards a giant dartboard, where Nick stood against it and continued singing, while Lindsay started throwing knives at him; in the midst of the act, she even blindfolded herself once and then threw the knife, other times she threw the knife with her foot. Lindsay declared that she is a self-taught knife thrower. The judges were extremely impressed by the performance, and Simon even went up to the stage and asked Lindsay to throw the knife at him with her foot.

Bir Khalsa Group (Karamjit, Kawaljit, and Jagdeep)

The world’s tallest policeman, Jagdeep was part of the performance. The act began with Karamjit, the manager pouring salt onto Kawaljit’s eyes so that Kawaljit couldn't see anything at all. Kawaljit was holding the mallet with which he smashed the fruits placed around Jagdeep’s body. For 90 spine-chilling seconds, the man smashed his mallet through every single one of the fruits including those placed very close to the body, without losing his balance or hurting the person. The judges were extremely impressed and awestruck by the performance. A part of the Bir Khalsa group performed in season 6 of ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Brian Miser and his wife Tina Miser were auditioning for a place on the show. Brian’s wry sense of humor immediately got everyone’s attention. When host Terry Crews asked him what would he do with the million dollars if he won, Brian immediately responds, “Retire”. Brian, set himself on fire and launched himself into the air through a giant crossbow without any harness or support and safely landed on a giant inflated cushion. This spectacular sight impressed every person in the room.
