Fusion Japan made a big impression on the Season 17 'AGT' stage, with fans and judges seeing numerous females on one side and boys on the other. People recognized this group as distinct since there was a significant gender divide. Nevertheless, the official translator then disclosed that they were rival groups in Japan and had joined forces for this competition. The ensemble performed a magnificent performance, mixing hip-hop dance with aerial acrobatics that put the audience on their feet after a series of entertaining questions and getting to know sessions.

The 'AGT' judges gave the dancing group a standing ovation, with Terry Crews calling the act “one of the best things I’ve seen in my life!” "Dynamic dance and overflowing enthusiasm" were used to create the ensemble. The team comprises girls from 12 to 26 who are no strangers to reality dance or talent shows. Fabulous Sisters won the 'World Of Dance' (Youth Division) finals two years in a row in 2016 and 2017, earning the most points in the show's history and the title of World Champion. In 2018, the dance crew also advanced to the World of Dance (Youth Division) divisional finals. Earlier this year, the group advanced to the semi-finals of 'Asia's Got Talent.' The Japanese dance group appeared on Season 13 of 'Britain's Got Talent' the same year, dancing to symphonic music and impressing the judges, who advanced them to the semi-finals.

Following the performance, the judges were unanimous in their admiration for the dancing ensemble. Sofia describes the performance as "amazing," since she had never seen somebody fall on their own face like that before. "Spectacular" and "powerful" are two other adjectives she uses to analyze the performance. Heidi considers Fusion Japan to be one of the greatest dancing ensembles she has seen on the 'AGT' stage. Howie states that this is a performance he will never forget, and that the audience will not either. He describes it as a "Vegas show right there." Simon explains how contestants from all around the world are conquering the 'AGT' stage with their unique performances, and Fusion Group is one such example. Following Heidi's "big fat yes," the three other judges help Fusion Japan into the competition.

Fans also took to Twitter after the performance to praise the group, one of them wrote: "Thaaaat waaas amaaaaaziiiiiin! Fusion Japan! @AGT #agt@nbc"

Another fan felt that the group definitely deserved a "golden buzzer" as they tweeted:  "For Fusion Japan, this was definitely an act that truly deserves a #goldenbuzzer . Not just some sanger that plants herself in the crowd to get a cheap recognition. #AGT"

One fan joined in on the fun as they joked about the dancers falling to the ground on their faces during the performance. They tweeted: "#FusionJapan, that was a lot of fun to watch. Usually it's not a good thing when you fall on your face. #AGT"

Another viewer ranked Fusion Japan to be the top performance coming from Japan. The fan tweeted: "We been getting slot of Japanese acts so far this year but I liked Fusion Japan. They were a step up from the usual dance acts we’ve seen but not quite to the elite level also. #AGT"

After the performance, one fan felt that the dance troupe definitely deserved to be one of the frontrunners: "Fusion Japan was spectacular! What an excellent audition! I could definitely see them as frontrunners! #AGT"

Another fan was simply blown away by the performance, as they write: "Fusion Japan just blew me way right there it was awesome #AGT"
