'Americal Idol' Season 21: Who is Jack Nicora? Self-taught musician is in love with Doo Wop music
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA: We are just a few days away from the highly anticipated ABC show — American Idol Season 21. Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie are ready to hunt for talented and dynamic contestants who can grace the 'Americal Idol' stage. American Idol 2023 contestants haven't been officially announced by the network, but they have released first-look photos of competitors who are auditioning and trying to become the next 'American Idol'.
The judges had some of the first stops on the American Idol audition tour in Nashville, Las Vegas, and New Orleans. We have also got a sneak peek at some of the auditions, and some of them have reduced judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie to tears. Some American Idol Season 21 contestants who have auditioned are I'm Tongi, Luke Bryan, L-Rich, and Katey Parry. However, fans will get to meet some more talented singers like Zachariah Smith, Kya Monee’, Jack Nicora, Colin Stough, and Lucy Love, this Sunday, February 19. Who is Jack Nicora?
Jack Nicora is a 20-year-old multi-talented, self-taught musician, singer/songwriter, and pianist. He belongs from McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Jack generally performs the 1950s and 1960s Doo-Wop and early rock and roll. Moreover, Jack Nicora released an album in 2021 titled 'Music Is My Life.'
The rising singer does live shows and performances around his hometown as Jack Nicora with DJ Mike’s Record Machine. Meanwhile, Jack is currently performing solo concerts and appearing at several events throughout Pittsburgh. He is also in the process of creating original music for a new album soon to be released.
Notably, Jack often mentions his hometown hero, Jimmy Beaumont, during his shows. Jimmy, the original lead singer of the legendary Skyliners, is also a major influence on Jack's style and vocal approach. Nicora also revealed that Lou Christie, Dion & The Belmonts, and Little Anthony & The Imperials are some of his other idols of him.

During American Idol 2023 auditions, contestant Jack Nicora brought his cute yellow bird to the stage. In the recently released photos by ABC Network, Katy, Lionel, and Luke can all be seen with a yellow bird. Jack Nicora it seems impressed American Idol 2023 judges with his yellow bird. However, his cute pet is not the only reason he stood out — he also does have singing talent as he proves during his audition.
