America Ferrera is pregnant with second child, shows off baby bump in new picture with Ryan Piers Williams
'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' star America Ferrera is welcoming the New Year with baby number 2.
The 35-year-old revealed to her fans and followers that she is expecting her second child and took to Instagram to show off her growing baby bump. The 'Superstore' star posted an adorable photograph where she was joined by her 19-month-old son Sebastian and38-year-old husband Ryan Piers Williams.
Ferrera and her family were seen near El Paso, Texas. She was sporting a burgundy colored ribbed sweater along with a pair of black leggings. She finished off the look with cream-colored snow boots. Her son Sebastian was seen raising a hand to touch his future brother/sister.
She had captioned the image, "Welcoming Baby #2 in 2020! Happy New Year from our wild & growing bunch." Many celebrities took to expressing their joy and delight at the news and commented on the picture. Reese Witherspoon wrote, "Congratulations!!!! This is the most exciting news."
"You are the sweetest family. All love to you all in this New Year," Judith Light added. Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Melissa Fumero who recently revealed that she is also pregnant wrote in to say, "YAYYYY!!! Congratulations again beauty!!!"
Ferrera's pregnancy announcement was the second picture she posted recently. The pictures both feature her son Sebastian whom she normally keeps out of the public eye. She had earlier shared a family picture sporting matching red pajamas on Christmas morning.
She and Williams were seen leaning in to kiss their son Sebastian, whose face was covered, as they sat in front of a Christmas tree. She had captioned the image, "I hope you get kiss attacked today by some bunny you love."
The couple had got engaged in 2010 and tied the knot the following year in June 2011. This is the second pregnancy announcement for Ferrera who had also announced her first pregnancy at the end of 2017.
