Amber Heard says Johnny Depp accused her of affairs with Liam Hemsworth, Channing Tatum: 'She is so desperate'
Amber Heard recently took to the witness stand at London's High Court on what was the 10th day of the libel lawsuit between her and ex-husband Johnny Depp and once again she brought out sordid details of their marriage, where Depp allegedly "threatened to kill her" and held her in what seemed like a "three-day hostage situation". But it is Heard's claims of Depp accusing her of having affairs with her costars that seems to have pissed off the internet the most, as they are now accusing her of being after his money, saying "nobody cares about your lies anymore" and asking "can she just go away?"
There are two sides to every story, but Heard's side seems to keep dragging her down in the ranks of the internet. And this is after Heard went into serious details to describe some of the most violent fights between her and Depp in her latest testimony.
"He accused me of having affairs with each of my co-stars, movie after movie: Eddie Redmayne, James Franco, Jim Sturgess, Kevin Costner, Liam Hemsworth, Billy-Bob Thornton, Channing Tatum; even women co-stars like Kelly Garner," Heard said this time, adding: "He also accused me of having affairs with stars I auditioned with, like Leonardo DiCaprio. He would taunt me about it — especially when he was drunk or high — and had derogatory nicknames for every one of my male co-stars he considered a sexual threat. For example, Leonardo DiCaprio was 'pumpkin-head'. Channing Tatum was 'potato-head'."
Her harrowing recount of the "hostage situation" addressed the time she was visiting Depp in Australia while the actor was filming 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. "It is the worst thing I have ever been through. I was left with an injured lip and nose, and cuts on my arms," Heard states of the time, alleging that during a fight, the actor grabbed her neck and shoved her against the fridge, tore off her nightgown and pushed her against a bar.
"He was pressing so hard on my neck I couldn't breathe. I was trying to tell him that I couldn't breathe. I remember thinking he was going to kill me in that moment," she said. Heard also alleged Depp "would blame all his actions on a self-created third party instead of himself, which he often called 'the monster'", among suggestions that when they were together he would force her to dress modestly.
But the internet seems to be having none of it. "Amber Heard is realising that theatrics and filibustering isn't tolerated in UK courts. Eleanor Laws QC (Depp's lawyer) did an impressive job at catching her out in so many lies in the first hour. But hey, she’s wearing white so she must be innocent," mocked a fan on Twitter. Another wrote: "She is so desperate to make him look like the bad guy."
Convinced that she is "the woman who lied about Johnny beating her and basically coming very close to ruining his career?" a fan asked "Can she just go away and stay away?" Some are also of the opinion that "she just wants money from him," while others would like to remind the "canceled" 'Aquaman' actress, "Yeah, Amber, nobody cares about your lies anymore." Summing it up for the general outpour of support towards Depp after the initial backlash against him when the allegations of violence had first broken out, a fan wrote: "Can't she find some relevance of her own?"
