Amber Heard's 'Dr Evil' courtroom outfit BRUTALLY trolled as defamation trial resumes
Amber Heard was brutally trolled on social media after her latest courtroom outfit was likened to that of Dr Evil from the Austin Powers franchise.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, for defamation saying a 2018 op-ed penned by the latter painted him as a domestic abuser. While the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star was not mentioned by name, his lawyers have argued the implications were obvious and damaged their client's Hollywood prospects. Depp is seeking more than $50 million in damages, while Heard has filed a counterclaim of $100 million accusing her ex-husband of running a "smear campaign" to ruin her career.

Heard, in her latest court appearance on Monday, May 16, wore a grey button-up suit that made trolls on social media claim that her outfit resembled that of Mike Myers' character Dr Evil in the Austin Powers movies. Many users noted how Douglas “Dougie” Powers -- popularly known as Dr Evil -- was famous for his signature high-neck, light grey jacket.

Social media was inundated with jokes at the expense of Heard's courtroom ensemble and why it was wrong for so many reasons.
"First time watching this #JohnnyDeppvAmberHeard trial. WHY is #AmberHeard wearing a Dr. Evil Costume from Austin Powers?? I think her stylist is #TeamJohnnyDepp Haha," one tweeted.
"She stopped copying Johnny Depp’s wardrobe and started copying Dr. Evil’s #DeppVsHeard #DeppvHeard #drevil #AmberHeard #JohnnyDepp #JohnnyDepptrial," another wrote.
"Did no one tell Amber Heard that dressing like Dr. Evil was probably not a great idea? I bet she has a wrinkly shaved pussycat in her lap," a comment read.
"Why would #AmberHeard wear the Dr. Evil uniform on the same day that she’d have to keep repeating the phrase 'One Million Dollars'?" someone else added.
"Yo Amber Heard I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but when you dress up like Dr. Evil you kinda making it hard," one quipped.
"Dr. Evil should ask #AmberHeard about the make-up kit so he can cover up his scar the same way she can cover up her cuts and wounds," another joked.

The defamation trial involving Heard and Depp resumed on Monday, May 16, following a week's break. Heard returned to the witness stand, recalling Depp's first act of alleged physical violence against her. The exes were last seen in court on Thursday, May 5, when Heard documented several incidents of alleged violence at the hands of Depp. She claimed that the violence began in early 2012, contradicting her prior statement that it occurred in 2013. Heard said Depp attacked her for the first time when she inquired about his 'Wino Forever' tattoo — the tweaked 'breakup' version of the 'Winona Forever' tattoo he got for his ex-girlfriend Winona Ryder.
"You never forget it, that's how I remember it. It changes your life. You never forget the time someone hits you like that. I just had the date wrong," she said, following reports of her contradiction. When asked what made her forget the date, the actress said, "I am embarrassed to say I would have liked to have believed the period of time I had to fall in love with Johnny and he was sober and he wasn't violent to me lasted a lot longer than it did. I would have liked to have believed I wasn't hit so early in the relationship."
