Amber Heard has thrown her support behind Evan Rachel Wood after the latter accused Marilyn Manson of domestic abuse.Manson, real name Brian Warner, was similarly accused by several women this week after Wood named him as her alleged abuser on Monday, February 1. The actress had been engaged with the singer back in 2010, according to Unilad. Wood had previously spoken about having been in an abusive relationship in the past, but had refrained from naming her alleged abuser.

Heard took to Twitter on Thursday, February 4, to give her two cents on Wood's allegations. "And yet, no one sees the trend here? Everyone wants to tag a Bathroom wall, no one wants to understand the writing. Evan & I aren’t the 1st to raise our hands. Are you done ignoring it?" the Aquaman actress tweeted, sharing alongside an article from the New Yorker about Manson.

It's worth noting that Heard has herself accused her ex-husband Johnny Depp of domestic abuse, something he has strongly denied. But instead of acknowledging her support of Wood, Twitterati appeared to lash out at Heard in light of her allegations against Depp, whom she divorced in 2017. "@realamberheard Put your hand down and stop exploiting Evan's story to sway the public perception back in your favor. Don't act like you didn't break bread and hang out with Marilyn Manson for years after his relationship with ERW/ your own record of violence against partners!" one wrote.

"Evan will regret you getting involved in this, Amber "I wanted nothing" Heard. Everything you get involved in turns into shit, and you've already ruined it for her. There is no one who will be interested because of you. You have destroyed for all real victims," another alleged. "Rachel is probably NOT involved with this phony opportunist! She probably very definitely feels quite the same as most of us ACTUAL VICTIMS. #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser #AmberHeardIsALiar #amberheardistheproblem," a third chimed in.

On February 1, Wood took to Instagram and shared in a post: "The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years." She continued: "I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives."

Several other women followed Wood's lead and came forward with disturbing allegations against the artist. One of the accusers in former pornstar Jenna Jameson, who claims Manson fantasized about eating her alive during their brief relationship in 1997. "We didn’t go out long because I cut it off after he would nonchalantly say he fantasized about burning me alive. Sexually he liked to bite, and it was disconcerting. He is a lot. To say the least," she said.

That said, Manson has strongly denied all the allegations against him, saying they are "horrible distortions of reality." "Obviously, my life and my art have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality," he shared in a statement on Tuesday, February 2. "My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth."
