When police stopped the vehicle they initially saw no one else inside but then found Moss underneath blankets in the back seat. People have been reacting on Twitter under the PA State Police's official post. Some seem to have known the woman in question. One user commented saying, "I have seen her before walking on the sidewalks but I never thought of anything else." Another one said, "The mother, (suspect of the hunt) looks like someone who is always in the reddners or wise, dollar general, etc. But I don't really talk to women who seem busy.. what I mean is, these are my neighbor's neighbor, and her daughter. I have seen them before. But you just never know."
A person suspected seeing the gray car, "I had a Grey jetta behind me in Morgantown around 530pm and it went into the beer store. I came back from wawa and it pulled out behind me leaving beer store lol. Definitely could've been someone else but who knows." A user shared some useful information, "I read on Facebook from the supervisor, it is mom and daughter. She does not have custody and it was during a supervised visit. The guy was distracted and she took the kid and ran. She apparently is homeless and I’m guessing father has custody."
