'AJ and the Queen' Episode 10: AJ's plan to see her Pop Pop turns awry and Ruby forfeits the beauty pageant

When AJ first stowed away in Robert's RV without his knowledge, she asked him for one thing: "take me to Texas." Having a drug addict for a mother she had not seen for weeks, she decided to go to Pop-Pop (grandfather) in Dallas — and now she was only a few miles away from his farm.
Coming to the end of his cross country club tour, Robert, aka Ruby Red, and AJ make it to the acclaimed Drag Queen Beaty pageant and Robert has his eye on only one title: Miss Drag Queen USA.
While on this club tour, the duo was followed by Robert's ex-boyfriend Damien Sanchez and illegal silicone host Lady Danger. After she was released from jail, Lady Danger tries to find Sanchez in order to get her stolen money back.
Ransacking the RV in the parking lot thinking Sanchez came to see Robert, she instead stole back counterfeit cash that Mama Faberge (Robert's friend on Jackson, Mississippi) gave AJ. Sanchez, on the other hand, tries to find Robert to give back the money he stole from him — the $100,000 he stole from Lady Danger.
As Robert gets dolled up in drag for the pageant, he gets a visit in his dressing room from his criminal ex. Confessing his love for Robert and hinting that he could be gay, Sanchez pours his heart out and Robert believes none of it.
Seeing that her friend is in danger, AJ hits Sanchez with a trophy knocking him out. The duo run back to the RV trying to escape cops and social services that were called by a competitor in the pageant who found out that AJ was brought across stateliness without a parent.
Louis, Robert's best friend, had come to New York after finding out his boyfriend's officer Patrick was cheating on him. She steals the limelight and performs at the pageant instead of Ruby Red, winning the first alternative.
Making it to Pop-Pop's, Robert realizes that the picture and letters from her grandfather that AJ carried were fake — the postal stamp did not say Texas and the picture was from Getty images.
Too young to have noticed that, Robert tells AJ, that there is no Pop-Pop, "your mom couldn't give you anything, so she gave you a Pop Pop" he tells AJ.
Hysterical, the little girl screams, "nobody wants me!" and right after Robert tells her he would — Brianna Douglas, AJ's mother shows up.
Louis told Douglas in New York that her little girl was going to her grandfathers — knowing she had lied to her daughter, she stole money from Louis and made her way to Dallas.
While the episode ends with AJ hitting her mother, heartbroken about just a messed up lie, Brianna hugs her apologizing as Robert looks on. Ending with a cliffhanger and lots of tears — we don't know about you, but we're hoping that in Season 2 (not yet announced) Robert would be able to adopt AJ.
