It started with seven strangers from Japan who leave their homeland to explore key places across Asia in pursuit of adventure. On their journey, they come across various challenges and discover romance. In the upcoming edition of the show, these travelers will explore the continent of Africa and continue their journey.

‘Ainori Love Wagon: African Journey’ Season 1 is all set to release on Netflix on January 30.

Plot

Four boys and three girls from different parts of Japan find themselves heading out on a journey of a lifetime. After they explored Asia and experienced various adventures en route, they now will venture into Africa and discover what this fascinating continent has in store for them.

Karina Maruyama is a former international footballer who played at national and international levels. Tokyo-born sports star, she started as a club footballer and then moved to league games. A popular face of Japanese media and television, Maruyama has three Olympic games to her credit across her sports career of 13 years.
