‘AGT’ Season 19: Simon Cowell dismisses fellow judge Heidi Klum's remarks by defending Daks Dominoes in audition
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: In the fourth episode of 'America's Got Talent' Season 19, the spotlight was on a unique dominoes act presented by the professional Domino artists Daks Dominoes. The judges were initially perplexed by the concept of a dominoes act claiming to have set world records.
The producers decided to build suspense by allowing the duo to set up their intricate display overnight, keeping the audience in anticipation. The following day, as the audition began, there was a brief moment of tension when a few plastic cups fell, but the sequence remained intact.
Howie Mandel was chosen to kick off the domino chain reaction, which ended successfully to the delight of the judges. Soon after, Howie challenged the duo to break another record in their next performance, meanwhile, Sofia Vergara hinted at a special act in store.
On the other hand, Heidi Klum expressed skepticism, viewing the act as more suited for home entertainment rather than a Vegas show. Simon Cowell came forward and defended the act, emphasizing the importance of showcasing unique talents.
Ultimately, after a turnaround from Heidi based on the audience's reaction, the judges unanimously voted to send Daks Dominoes to the next round.
